it seems plausible but all those teams are playing pretty well right now

wolves are 9-1 in their last 10, mavs are 8-2, nuggets are 7-3. so they haven’t made up a ton of ground

yeah something like that would be good

tbh i don't think teams under .500 should get play-in games at all unless they are tied with the 8 seed. you could simply win half your games if you want to make the playoffs it doesnt seem like too much to ask

i know this is gonna sound like a crazy concept but if a play in game is happening w/ a team that is too far under .500 for your liking, you can just choose to not watch it

its not that it's that the Lakers probably would find a way to win it which means we'd be in for a miserable series vs. the Suns or whatever. though I guess it might be fun to watch the Lakers get housed 4 games straight

This seems like it will correct itself. Like you can flip it around and say the team above .500 in the play-in should just win their game.
