in john hollinger’s column this week he said that simmons back injury was “real” and my thought was “what does that mean and where is that coming from” but there’s no reason to have a fake epidural

yikes, also now even weirder that they leaned on the mental health stuff when he could've just been like hey my back is crazy jacked up

No matter what happens to the Sixers, I'm going to laugh if the Nets just signed off on Simmons' medicals because they just assumed he was faking it for salary dispute until a trade could be had. That would be terrible.

besides the exhaustion aspect which is major its just also too predictable you need to have different looks to keep the defense guessing and lukas always operating against a set D which is unnecessarily hard seems like a no brainer to at least run some actions for him before he receives the ball to get him in better spots

some of it im sure is a personnel issue their front court guys arent great with the ball

i wouldn’t be dying to play dragic a ton in the playoffs but he’s looked better than i thought he would

Agree with lagoon on Luka and would add that it def doesn't work in the playoffs

i think the mavs have the right style team around luka. mobile bigs and some secondary ballhandlers to go with the 3 and d parade. they just need better players. like if instead of jalen brunson you had beal

That said I'm only watching Mavs to see Luka so I'm glad his usage is high as apple pie

mavs def need better guys and if they had them they could play more dynamic ball
