i have two really good friends from high school who went to duke, apparently he would use rallies to ream out the student sections for not cheering hard enough using like total full profanity. he is a psychotic little rat man.

i haven't been paying attention to the acc, but i was sort of surprised to see that unc isn't ranked despite being 14-5 in conference play.

bad year for the ACC. not sure UNC has a single NBA player on their team. even duke feels like a top 5 team by default more than anything. banchero might be the only NBA player on their team.

if you root for an acc basketball team that isn't duke you're very well aware that coach k is notorious for berating the refs into leaning towards duke w/ his demonic vermin screaming that will never ever get T'd up because he is the one and only coach k

i will say i hate duke but i don’t hate coach k. idk why. maybe it’s bcuz so many NBA players who didn’t play for him in college seem to love him

obviously he built up advantages (and presumably he thought i had more money to spend on him) but that's good recruiting

Speaking of skinny kids, at LSU Pete Maravich stood 6' 5" and weighed 160. He still averaged over 40 ppg for each of his three years playing on the "varsity" team - with no three point shots either! This was back when college freshmen were not allowed to play with the big boys.

I tuned in and watched Michigan earlier this year take apart Gonzaga, they looked like a video game team.

They did all this without Cason too who went out for the year with injury in February.

Like Cignetti in football, I think Dusty May pulling this off is going to get a lot of coaches fired as they figure they should be able to do this very thing with whatever they have.
