the way people were talking about austin reaves made me assume he was a solid 3 and D guy, but no, with all due respect he's a skinny jumpy guard and it's insane to me that he starts for these guys.

he's sneaky athletic -- or at least sneaky bouncy -- and knows how to play basketball, makes good passes and doesn't screw up kinda guy. but yeah he should not be a key part of any contending rotation

yeah i can see the good stuff in his game, it's just a physical profile thing where i don't think he's big enough to guard a lot of the people you'd want this player type to guard.

newsflash: playing center kind of sucks

they match up pretty well

one thing this year's Wolves have done that's so huge is they haven't let a bad loss or a couple bad losses turn into a bad streak, like in years past getting utterly destroyed by the 76ers the other night would have sent them into a funk

the wolves look pretty sharp on defense imo. pat bev and vanderbilt are a big part. rotations are mostly good. solid team. kat is really just incredible on offense, nothing he cant do on that end.

that falling left fade-away on the baseline vs lebron was gorgeous

luka floater game is too pretty everything just falls right over the front of the rim

it’s true always but is even more pronounced at the ends of games — luka is gonna get the mavs a good shot almost literally every time down the floor. he was kinda toying with lebron

the lakers being down 21 and then coming back and leading for a majority of the second half and then shitting the bed at the end of the game. you do love to see it

give lebron a little hope then rip it away for added drama love to see it indeed.

The funny thing is that literally everything about this team was done by a guy we fired

i know this kinda goes w/o saying but the hawks are just crazy dependent on trae. they just don't have many other guys who consistently bring it on offense... i guess they're missing collins and him and trae PNR is a big thing for them to lose. bogdanovic had a good game tonight but huerter just floated thru the game which it feels like he does often and then after that it's a bunch of guys who aren't doing much of anything on offense. judging a team by how they play against the celtics defense isn't entirely fair but it feels really strained tonight. once trae stopped repeatedly hitting 26 foot threes their offense just completely died

got pretty cheap tickets for that heat-nets game last week knowing it might be a KD comeback game. i would've gone anyway but the prices of nets tickets were really depressed even tho the KD return was on the horizon
