I love Vanderbilt so much, so much hustle

carlisle knows how to tank... up 5 with 4 to go he subbed in lance for halliburton and gave up an 8-0 run

micah, Saturday, 26 February 2022 02:13 (four years ago)

Harden was team high +35 ... didn't see game, how did it look?

that's not my post, Saturday, 26 February 2022 03:49 (four years ago)

Harden is a crafty player and way more versatile than Simmons. Everyone seemed like they were having fun, which will happen when you win by 30+.

Woj reporting that Oladipo could be back in a couple of weeks. I completely forgot he was on the Heat! It’s been a long time since he was a difference maker on the court but the top of the East is so knotty, I could see him making a difference if he can give thrm anything. Then again you just checked his bref and forgot just how long its been since he was healthy… basically been rehabbing injuries since 11/2018

Tanking Pacers exceedingly more fun to watch than middling Pacers atm. Still a crapshoot what the roster will look like next year, but I can't wait to watch Isaiah Jackson and Haliburton play together in meaningful minutes in sane rotations / consistent Off/Def sets next year. Haliburton is an obvious prospect, but I feel like Jackson is going to absolutely explode next year. Really impressive rim-runner, and already has great defensive instincts – can guard a ton of positions and has great shot-blocking instincts. Really amazing watching how quick he can elevate; worried he's gonna shatter his ankles pogoing around for offensive rebounds.

Also hope they lock up Terry Taylor for a few more years this offseason – great G League find.

Look out, world!

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Saturday, 26 February 2022 17:09 (four years ago)

The Markelle Fultzes of the world aside, there do seem to be an inordinate number of players who have been out with significant injuries coming back in time to potentially influence the playoffs. Kawhi & PG, various Bulls, uhhhh Simmons…

What’s the latest buzz on Murray and MPJ?

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Saturday, 26 February 2022 17:12 (four years ago)

sounds like murray will be back soon, mpj maybe

hamidou diallo just got ejected for pushing a ref during play it didnt look malicious not sure what he was up to, scalabrine thinks he was just trying to redirect his momentum

looks like he just wanted to give him a lil shove lol

lag∞n, Saturday, 26 February 2022 17:59 (four years ago)

Looks like diallo thought the ref was about to run into the space where he was running and he instinctively fended him away to clear his path. But you don't do that to a striped shirt.

more difficult than I look (Aimless), Saturday, 26 February 2022 18:09 (four years ago)

yeah youre prob right he really misjudges it tho goes out of his way and fully extends just to make contact

lag∞n, Saturday, 26 February 2022 18:20 (four years ago)

oladipo looked great defensively for the heat in the handful of games he played last year before he got hurt again but his offense had cratered pretty badly, he shot 37/23 for them and 40/32 overall last year. but they also don’t need a ton from him this year with lowry and herro around, if he still has his athleticism and can D up like he did when he was trying last season he will still be useful, and if he can even just shoot 35% from three he might even be a weapon. and he’s basically free

J0rdan S., Saturday, 26 February 2022 19:10 (four years ago)

julius randle played one of the worst basketball games i’ve seen in a while last night

J0rdan S., Saturday, 26 February 2022 19:27 (four years ago)

hes been pretty rough

lag∞n, Saturday, 26 February 2022 19:29 (four years ago)

i wonder what the best situation for him would be hes one of those guys who has a ball dominant game but isnt really good enough to play that way

lag∞n, Saturday, 26 February 2022 19:30 (four years ago)

yeah prob as like a montrezl harrell style sixth man but now he’s getting paid like a star

J0rdan S., Saturday, 26 February 2022 19:37 (four years ago)

He’s better than trez! Trez is a rim runner and nothing more. He’s prob closer to like… sabonis?

Spottie, Saturday, 26 February 2022 19:54 (four years ago)

garage sale sabonis

Spottie, Saturday, 26 February 2022 20:05 (four years ago)

Pelicans started 3-16 then 21-20 since. Beat the suns last night. Herb Jones seems like he’s gonna be a good glue guy and with Ingram, Valencunis and CJ they have quite a bit of scoring. Devonte graham off the bench makes sense. They could really use… Zion.

Spottie, Saturday, 26 February 2022 20:15 (four years ago)

randle is better than trez… well his game is more varied. trez might be purely more efficient. but if randle can’t be the centerpiece of a good offense then he’s prob best suited for that kind of role bcuz he can’t really play off the ball. sabonis is much better imo

J0rdan S., Saturday, 26 February 2022 20:32 (four years ago)

the suns bench is pretty bad esp with cam payne out. they kinda only have 5 guys who can play right now. half their roster is just a write off. that shamet trade and extension not looking too hot

J0rdan S., Saturday, 26 February 2022 20:38 (four years ago)

uhh

Sources: Nets star Ben Simmons is dealing with back soreness in reconditioning process that requires further strengthening of the area over a period of time before return to action.

Save the drama for your mama.

removing bookmarks never felt so good (PBKR), Saturday, 26 February 2022 23:51 (four years ago)

ah yes of course lol

Brooklyn has no set timetable for Simmons' return. It's uncertain whether the three-time All-Star will clear necessary return-to-play hurdles for Nets' March 10 return trip to Philadelphia, but team is treating as a day-to-day process. https://t.co/SnWVQeSWPS

zero percent chance he plays in that game

J0rdan S., Sunday, 27 February 2022 00:04 (four years ago)

it's funny, he's had a lot of time on his hands, you'd think he'd have been able to make some schedule space for 'reconditioning'

wtf kind of contracts do these guys have

Tracer Hand, Sunday, 27 February 2022 00:06 (four years ago)

he’s an embarrassment

k3vin k., Sunday, 27 February 2022 01:06 (four years ago)

don't high school and college coaches all claim that sports build character and teach young people how to deal with adversity? apparently it's not foolproof.

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 February 2022 03:08 (four years ago)

i don't think it's an east vs. west thing (the conferences look pretty even this year) as much as the bulls are putting out really bad defensive teams right now
