he has a chance to be a monster if he gains any modicum of offensive skill. he’s already a useful player

his shot seems workable and he doesnt lack any confidence shooting it. hes useful with basically only one offensive move thus far (the spin).

yeah his form is pretty good, he has touch on his FTs

probably more impressive is that he's already good enough on defense to earn minutes. would be easy for someone with his leaping ability to hunt blocks but he's got solid fundamentals.

yeah he has a chance to be a beast on defense too. he has the tools to be a wing stopper and a small ball 5 against other small units who offers some rim protection

the version of him that hits both his offensive and defensive ceiling would be a multi time all star

Tobias must be feeling good, gets to go from being an egregiously overpaid, woefully under-qualified second banana, ridden with fan frustrations at both states of affairs, to a reasonably qualified 3rd banana (albeit still egregiously overpaid)

two more years of that deal is brutal kinda doubt he can find anything thats an upgrade, maybe when its expiring

Not expecting a one for one on Tobias, but something that gives them more flexibility and depth maybe (or leads to that). But Morey seems the type to burn it all down while the window is open.

i think morey is gonna have a sequel offseason to his first one there where he radically reshapes the supporting cast to add more shooting around his two stars and i think tobias will 100% be part of that purge

the thing about trading harris and assets to upgrade your team is how many assets do you have to include just to get someone to take the ~$80m left on harris contract, then youre giving up more after that to improve the team seems like a lot going out, and then within that how do you even find a deal that can absorb that very big contract, like its not impossible maybe you send harris and one million picks out for brad beal tho someone else with a similar offer that doesnt include two seasons of tobias harris at $40m prob trumps that, but seems like a more likely way forward is to just keep harris and trade other guys and picks if you want to upgrade the team, harris should even be a fine fit with phillys "big two"

I wouldn't be surprised if by the start of next season the Sixers have traded or given a right to swap every pick until 2027.

Harden is a crafty player and way more versatile than Simmons. Everyone seemed like they were having fun, which will happen when you win by 30+.

It’s been a long time since he was a difference maker on the court but the top of the East is so knotty, I could see him making a difference if he can give thrm anything. Then again you just checked his bref and forgot just how long its been since he was healthy… basically been rehabbing injuries since 11/2018

Tanking Pacers exceedingly more fun to watch than middling Pacers atm. Still a crapshoot what the roster will look like next year, but I can't wait to watch Isaiah Jackson and Haliburton play together in meaningful minutes in sane rotations / consistent Off/Def sets next year. Haliburton is an obvious prospect, but I feel like Jackson is going to absolutely explode next year. Really impressive rim-runner, and already has great defensive instincts – can guard a ton of positions and has great shot-blocking instincts. Really amazing watching how quick he can elevate; worried he's gonna shatter his ankles pogoing around for offensive rebounds.

Also hope they lock up Terry Taylor for a few more years this offseason – great G League find.
