J0rdan S., Monday, 24 January 2022 22:14 (four years ago)

idk brad is a pretty conservative guy but i do support him going big why not

lag∞n, Monday, 24 January 2022 22:16 (four years ago)

it feels like their absolute ceiling is getting squashed in round 2 so loading up for next year & beyond makes the most sense. prob wouldn't be fun to deal w/ tatum & brown's angst over the backsliding over the last two years but they're under contract so w/e. if the trade market this year is advantageous to them really reshaping the roster for the future they should do it

J0rdan S., Monday, 24 January 2022 22:17 (four years ago)

i feel like the alchemy between "i'm a new guy in this job and i want to prove myself by making some moves" and "this roster needs a shake up to begin with" is very strong

J0rdan S., Monday, 24 January 2022 22:18 (four years ago)

yeah it makes a lot of sense but who knows if hes ready to trade three firsts for brad beal

lag∞n, Monday, 24 January 2022 22:21 (four years ago)

it's tough to figure out what this team should do but it's clear they're not going to make any noise this season so moving some vets, playing some young guys, and seeing what shakes loose over the offseason makes sense to me.

cad otm

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Tuesday, 25 January 2022 15:43 (four years ago)

i mean thats sound plan, a fine plan, but it lack pizzazz; instead why not consider trading three firsts for brad beal

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 January 2022 17:16 (four years ago)

my basic reason would be that he's not worth that

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 January 2022 17:26 (four years ago)

i double checked and that is what hes worth

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 01:13 (four years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 01:52 (four years ago)

Look what happens when Marcus returns and Enes gets banished

The Kings are currently shooting so badly (20.8 percent) I looked up the worst single game field goal percentage in NBA history. The Philadelphia Warriors shot 16.4 percent against the St. Louis Bombers on Feb. 7, 1948. I don't think it's in play, but at this rate who knows.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 01:56 (four years ago)

they have shot so many utter bricks

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 01:58 (four years ago)

The Celtics were briefly ahead by 60 points, but collapsed down the stretch to finish with a 128-75 victory.

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 02:37 (four years ago)

kings got to 30.9% shooting too : /

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 02:40 (four years ago)

lol

Celtics improved their net rating by 1.1 points (from +2.0 to +3.1) for the season with tonight’s 53-point win over Kings. They now have the 7th best net rating in NBA.

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 03:21 (four years ago)

pretty good

The Celtics have held 4 opponents under 80 points this season.

All other NBA teams combined have held 5 opponents under 80 points.

some of the new stuff theyre asking tatum to do does seem to be starting to work hes finding guys better out of the double team and playing more physical inside

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 13:32 (four years ago)

basketball is so weird, how can the celtics be just 5 games off the pace rn

Tracer Hand, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 13:52 (four years ago)

youre never out of it when you maintain a perfect 500 record

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 13:55 (four years ago)

just fill the tank a quarter of the way up when you get down to half a tank

Tracer Hand, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 13:58 (four years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 13:58 (four years ago)

namaste

Tracer Hand, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 13:59 (four years ago)

its interesting how much better the celtics look when jayson tatum is hitting 3s, something to ponder

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 17:12 (four years ago)

also when their schedule goes from hard to easy

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 17:14 (four years ago)

good combo. sometimes its good to make plenty of shots against bad teams, but not everyone agrees unfortunately.

Spottie, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 17:16 (four years ago)

yeah i mean personally id just try it see how it goes

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 January 2022 17:26 (four years ago)

“I love when Rob plays,” Tatum said. “When you’re driving in traffic and you gotta kick out, you can just throw it to the sky and he’ll catch it.”

tvabby hates the creepy new orleans baby and the tshirt gun

You know what I just learned? The tee shirt gun going off right in front of my face is even scarier than the Cake Baby! Rough game for me so far. https://t.co/B1ldoYbku3

marcus has been playing good point guard and the team needs it

Marcus Smart has played his best basketball of the season in his return to action this week. After tonight’s win, he’s a +93 during Boston's last four games.

— Brian Robb (@BrianTRobb) January 30, 2022

lag∞n, Sunday, 30 January 2022 02:31 (four years ago)

team needs to start plating at least one theres no way marcus smart can make good passes story a week

lag∞n, Monday, 31 January 2022 16:49 (four years ago)

its funny hearing people say i should only take high quality shots

lag∞n, Monday, 31 January 2022 16:54 (four years ago)

celtics have been within five games of .500 since the beginning of last season

― lag∞n, Sunday, January 23, 2022 8:07 PM (one week ago) bookmarkflaglink

Ime Udoka received a coach of the month nomination for January. Celtics entered the month 2 games below .500 and in 9th place, then finished the month 2 games ABOVE .500…yet somehow still in 9th place. https://t.co/WgS0njH53v

— Jared Weiss (@JaredWeissNBA) February 2, 2022

lag∞n, Wednesday, 2 February 2022 21:31 (four years ago)

tatum still shot 33% from 3 for the month which is where hes at for the year too, ive said it before but step back side step etc 3s just arent good shots, they not only dont go in but theyre ball stopping behavior, its good to have one in your pocket for end of shot clock situations but otherwise try to find better shots, move without the ball or something

lag∞n, Wednesday, 2 February 2022 21:40 (four years ago)

"iso 3s"

Tracer Hand, Wednesday, 2 February 2022 21:56 (four years ago)

if you can get an iso three going towards the basket thats a little better but yeah basically

they never lost the lead or even ended up tied which i will consider progress against a respectable hornets team

call all destroyer, Thursday, 3 February 2022 03:00 (four years ago)

they won without either jay getting 20, gotta be rare

lag∞n, Thursday, 3 February 2022 03:06 (four years ago)

definitely. josh richardson shooting the hell out of the ball helped. and marcus is on one of his good streaks as an offensive player.

Seems pretty good.

jaysons project to gas rob up seems to be going well

“I feel like I talk about Rob every day,” Tatum said before Friday’s game in Detroit. “But he deserves it and maybe All-Star aside, I think Rob has the potential to win Defensive Player of the Year one year, one of these days. I think that’s in his future coming up.”

A few hours later, Williams had 11 points and 11 rebounds, didn’t miss a shot, and his five blocks were more than the entire Pistons roster in Boston’s 102-93 win.
