the bigger question is why would the kings be looking to move haliburton? over fox?

i guess if u feel that fox can score more and simmons takes up defensive slack, but its the kings so i wouldnt read too deeply into it

fox & simmons is a pairing made in hell so it does seem perfect for the kings

i feel like ultimately the idea that the kings would trade three players w/ value plus two first round picks for simmons, thybulle, and a terrible contract doesn't pass the smell test

i'm hoping this plays out w/ morey doing nothing this season and then dumping ben in the offseason for harden. as someone who wants to see the funniest most terrible thing happen to the sixers

That's been the rumor in Philly media for at least a week or two now. Morey is keeping open the Harden possibility and so won't be making a move in until the offseason.

Since Morey's choices around Simmons until now have been almost impossible to fathom, that rumor makes about as much sense out of what we can see as any explanation I've heard so far. Doesn't mean it makes any real sense, but it gets a bit closer to it.

Going to see the Dubs tonight, and we are going early to watch the shoot-around (the tickets came with an option to come early), because of course we want to watch the Splash Bros do their thing!

Morey further explained that he figures almost every NBA player would be thrilled to play with Embiid, so even though Ben Simmons repeatedly announced to the entire world that he wouldn't return to the Sixers, Morey is very surprised that he actually won't return to play for the Sixers. This indicates Morey's head may be full of sand and someone should look into that possibility.
