feel like the major question in the east now is whether the cavs can stay in the top 6 and push one of chicago, miami, atlanta, philly, atlanta into the play in. i still feel like the chances are better than not that they're the ones who slip down but i wouldn't bet against them at this point, the mobley/allen combo is really working for them beyond anyone's wildest dreams. i guess so much of it will come down to health

there’s a lot of injury and covid stuff happening right now but both conferences are really competitive at least. it’s prob still a step up from the KD warriors/bron cavs era where nothing really mattered

yeah i was gonna say, u can say theres some mediocrity bc so many teams are clustered in the middle, but it feels realistic that 5 or 6 teams might make it out the east and at least 3 out of the west. i think despite the cap spike leading to gs getting durant, the changes to the cap rules have been working to create more parity and the last several years have been evidence of that. 5 different teams have won the last 5 titles, its wild!

It’s the difference between them winning some extra games and being the worst fourth-quarter team in the NBA.
