rough nite 4 steph curry, booker out, still pretty nice game tho, both teams play good ball which is cool to see

all the dubs cuts and off ball movement was snuffed out and the tiny windows they usually pass through were closed. but they didnt adjust and kept trying to squeeze it in. i think theyll try to simplify a bit on friday. a good early season test and reminder that sometimes their ideal offense doesnt work vs every team. kerr stuck with looney a little too long, probably shoulda given GP2 all the chiozzo minutes. easy to say in retrospect. dont think ive ever seen curry miss that many shots so badly in a game before. two airballs and a couple off the side of the backboard, smoked layups, etc.

My guess is LeBron's thinking something's "fishy" with his recent covid test results, 2 of which were positive, with the PCR being negative, hence him going into the protocol. Given his reluctance to publicly comment on his vaccination status earlier this year and his support for Green's silly vents defending Wiggins' protestations, I wouldn't be surprised if he thinks there's a "conspiracy" out to get him.

Or, if I was to take the more cynical, soulless and corporate LeBron narrative control perspective, he's trying to avoid accountability for his own failures as LeGM and his social and political hypocrisy on display via Enes Kanter's recent tweets.

One of the wires holding the net in broke. They've had to stop the game three times to fix it including delaying the start of the second half.

yeah there was just one spot where the net was detached from the rim a little bit, you never would have questioned it on your local public court.

not to say Kante... *ahem* Freedom isn't hypocritical, but everything he's called out is not exactly inaccurate. It's spot on. Generally shooting the messenger when the message is OTM is a weak counter.

i don't think lebron cares, or possibly even has any idea, what enes kanter says about him
