Is it too soon to be a little excited about Tyrese Maxey? He's now shooting 43% from 3P on 3.3 attempts per game (.523/.434/.841).

he's stepped up, its a good thing, feel good

Yeah. His development plus what the Bulls and Wizards did in the offseason are making me think that Morey should just trade Simmons for some really good depth wings who could start and/or come off the bench and see where that gets you (not a title, probably, but depth is good).

do not think maxey will continue to shoot like this, saw he was like 60% on floaters which makes up a significant part of his game, but even if he comes back to earth he def looks like a keeper

You would have to expect some regression, on the other hand, this is what Philly is feeling right now:

the current top 6 is warriors, suns, jazz, mavs, nuggets, clippers and i don’t think the lakers are better than any of those teams. i could see them getting sixth potentially depending on how the mavs and clippers play, but you can’t assume good health from the lakers either
