their defense is even worse. it was a layup line on backdoor cuts all 2nd half

i haven’t seen any of the pelicans this year but i wonder if, aside from everything else going wrong with them, they also made another bad coaching hire

i dont know who to blame but its ugly and has been for a long time.

Why was embiid so upset there

because he's a giant baby

seems like he was just frustrated with losing the ball out of bounds

just punching into a crowded court without looking as one does

crazy to me how an athlete of embiid's skill and size seems to have a pretty bad sense of spatial awareness

he missed lonzo by 3 centimeters you could argue he showed incredible spatial awareness

luka’s not playing great, porzingis just played his first game, deferring judgment for now

last few years they were pretty easy to understand, elite offensive team led by prodigal scorer/passer with shooter type role players around him and shaky on defense. this year their statistical profile is kind of all over the place, their games have been weird, their record appears good but is flimsy, all of their guys have underperformed except brunson. idk.
