New Orleans Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas has agreed on a two-year extension worth $30.1 million, his agents Aaron Mintz, Mitch Nathan and Drew Morrison of @CAA_Basketball tell ESPN.

Valanciunas is now committed to the Pelicans for $44.1M over the next three seasons.

one thing you could see last night was the dubs really miss an athletic dude at the lob/roller spot. lots of great passes to looney in the paint where hed take one more dribble and kick it back out or whatever. wiseman could be that guy if he's learned how to stay sound and in position on defense (not likely).

they need to trade wiseman. he needs to go to a bad team where he can develop with the ball in his hands and this warriors team can’t afford that

you’re right that the warriors basically need like a birdman style player at center who can run around and jump and dunk but what’s the point in turning wiseman into that, just get whatever value you can for him and add to your team

yeah not trading their picks the last couple years was pretty bad

unlikely theyd get enough for wiseman to make it worth their while at this point, he has to show he can play first

if Chriss coulda stayed healthy he looked really great in that role and had good chemistry w dray and steph, but alas
