I’ve seen nothing but fawning reviews but I’m not sure what the doc adds to the story that we didn’t already know. it does feature a tim donaghy interview, and does its best to allow artest to rehab his image

yeah it was very well-documented at the time and i'm not positive that it has many lasting effects if i'm being honest? feels like a time capsule that i don't really want to open.

artest is that guy we all know who does shitty things and will continue to do shitty things, but has been to therapy and knows enough therapy-speak to fool some people. a convicted abuser, for the record

i enjoyed some of stephen jackson's interviews but the whole thing was pretty cut-rate

if artest has figured anything out then good for him but he'll always be a stay away for me

i watched it and thought it would be good for non-hoop heads like us. like people that barely know about it beyond that there was a big fight its some good baseline knowledge and footage. i thought the ron artest doc was better and a lot of the same stuff was in that. oneal kinda made this seem like some big revelation about his side of the story but its just like yeah he punched a dude in somewhat self defense and got his suspension down from 25 to 15 games or whatever and that was about it...

you really the difference in internal drive between lenny and the talented ballers in the movie who made it
