they had to throw away a 1st to get off a bad contract they signed tho. not good.

i can’t make heads or tails of this deal except that the bulls getting a first for a guy they didn’t want anyway is pretty good.

nance gives the blazers some beef i guess, ppl have been swearing that he’s been really good the last few years. the blazers do love trading first round picks tho jeez. i thought lauri was a great buy low candidate this summer but i don’t think the cavs really bought low and now they’re heavily invested in an overcrowded front court paying lots of money to two players who are only going to suck up minutes that should be going to the one player who could maybe turn the franchise around. gilbert/altman might be the worst owner/GM combo in the league

they have a first ballot HOFer in Lillard and zero chance to land a big name talent in the free agent market, so trading away future picks is just about their only path to short term improvement. five years from now they'll suck be known as a 'scrappy, blue collar' team.

I am excited about the bulls. When I returned to the midwest last week, they were also excited about the bulls. Nobody thinks they will win a championship, but it is interesting, the bulls.

Everyone knows now what they get with Simmons. He's very athletic, talented and his game has exploitable holes and flaws. It's fine if he goes to another team. Probably best for him.

philly will have to pay a price to offload him and they've balked at what they've found his market asking price is. now he's forcing the issue. he really wants to be gone.

i guess i didn't think the relationship was really ruined to the degree where ben would demand to be traded. they did finish no 1 in the east last year and i didn't think it was some crazy idea that they would run it back and see if it worked better

phillys thinking dame is going to fall in their laps which is not actually going to happen so maybe the demand makes sense

it's too perfect. windhorst has been continuously dropping hints that something is up with lavine and his future. lavine signs with klutch so now klutch can pressure both sides. and chicago's offseason makes a lot more sense if they're planning for this. the last step is trying to pressure the sixers into doing it.

I would take LaVine at this point. Simmons can't play for the Sixers. Would like to get a pick or two out of Chicago if I could.

getting lavine would be a coup for the sixers at this point. a team of lonzo, derozan, simmons would be hysterical, what the hell kind of idea is that
