I think Pritchard is pretty much definitely going to be better than Dennis this season but it’s still a nice fit

seems like a good deal for boston... the lakers offered him $20m a year, they're prob getting him under value, league prob overreacting to the final few games of the suns series. i feel like he's pretty good bet to have a decent to good season and sign a 3/30 deal or something next summer

Schroeder is a player who makes other players depressed but on a good team that’s less of a problem

I know Sengun is an experienced professional and this is summer league but it really looks like the rockets got a steal here

arguments could be made for rob or schroeder too, i like the big backcourt tho and i think they need horfs playmaking but horf/rob could be a kind of two starters scenario where they play similar minutes

i think the celtics have done enough that i feel comfortable saying they’ll be a top 6 seed in the east this season

but maybe i’m still deluding myself into thinking that josh richardson had value

celtics basically punted this offseason for flexibility next year yet somehow managed to get some decent players

feel like this should be a good situation for richardson, he wont be asked to do too much

celtics could surprise via good defense and continued development of their stars but injuries aside yeah there are a number of teams in the east its hard to imagine them surpassing

i think jalen johnson played like a dozen games before stepping away bcuz of covid and entering the draft. ppl seemed to think he was a bit of a tweener but also that he dropped too far in the draft. he was a 5 star kid

they also got a tiny pg from Auburn who has been fun so far but i think they might have just got him to make trae feel big

at this point it's hard to imagine any team aside from the nets and bucks being in the east finals so it's hard to judge what success is for the other teams. i guess a. getting to the second round and b. being competitive

i guess there's a scenario where the nets are banged up and end up seeded against the bucks in the second round again, the rest of the east has a very strong incentive to try and make that happen

im pretty stoked for udoka era celtics, i like his vibe + just a change will be nice

and the prospect of adding brad beal next year is interesting

or maybe this year who knows

is that actually who the celtics want or just a best player available route

theres a feeling that there may be some collusion between him and his mentee/childhood friend jayson tatum to make it happen

dont think it would be a perfect fit but nevertheless adding an allstar/scoring champ is generally a good thing

thought tatum and KD paired nicely in the olympics. celtics should look into it.
