rly coming to terms with the spurs being a mediocre franchise now. that collins signing is such an own goal. spurs twitter is in deep denial of how bad things have gotten.

looking rly likely that they will either sign john collins OR S&T demar derozan for lauri markkanen. i dont hate lauri at the right price, and collins wd be v good but also this team is sending rly strange signals.

if the spurs sign lauri that will officially be too many whites and a penalty will be assessed

it been a banner day for the whites at spurs hq today. drafted joe wieskamp (college white from iowa), signed mcbuckets (nickname white), collins (hurt white), and could pick up lauri (nordic white). they already have jak poeltl (teutonic white) which means IN THEORY they could have the first all-white lineup of the 21st century, p fucked up

spurs are really in no man’s land, like what would it take for them to win a playoff series with this current roster. still they had one of the greatest sustained runs in NBA history what’re ya gonna do

guess the contract number hasn't come out yet but the wizards trading westbrook for some good role players and a pick they used to get aaron holiday and then signing spencer dinwiddie is a pretty good series of moves

i changed my twitter trend location to the cayman islands which got rid of trends for a while but they're back now, they seem to have set certain ones as global now so they'll show up no matter what country you set. gotta get a browser extension that blocks them i guess

i don’t think carmelo on the minimum is bad, the blazers relied on him too heavily but i think he’s shown he’s still a rosterable veteran wing player. malik monk as a KCP replacement is pretty great at least on offense, i’m surprised there wasn’t more interest in him he could have a few brynn forbes style playoff games

My main problem with what the lakers are doing is that this looks like a very very bad defensive team

god this looks like an even shittier version of the Kobe/Nash/Gasol/Dwight Lakers. i guess kudos for not doing the "well we might've won if not for injuries so lets just run it back" thing that never works

at the end of the day if you have a healthy lebron and anthony davis you’re gonna have a very good shot of winning your conference. the 2 best teams in the NBA are in the east, the lakers don’t have any insurmountable opponent to get back to the finals

A protected first for a guy who averaged 22-4-7 last year actually isn’t much

a protected first and $85 million for 32 year old demar derozan is a lot, i'm not being convinced of otherwise
