Durant having to do an interview right now is cruel

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 03:50 (five years ago)

I haven’t watched every game but Jrue hasn’t seemed that bad? It’s just nothing goes in I guess

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 20 June 2021 04:18 (five years ago)

he's taken some shots from all different places on the floor that haven't been close

call all destroyer, Sunday, 20 June 2021 04:21 (five years ago)

Make no mistake about it, the closer for the Milwaukee Bucks is Khris Middleton…he scored 23 points and 10 rebounds!

Lopez had such a weird game

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 04:39 (five years ago)

Ahhhh I still can’t believe this good night ilx

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 04:45 (five years ago)

I remember when the blazers beat the nuggets in rd 2 a couple years ago and I was like “wow we won the championship basically”

he hasn’t been bad but he hasn’t been great either. he gives them a certain steadiness at PG that bledsoe didn’t even putting the shooting aside. but jrue has never been an amazing shooter and looked like a middling one in this series. they have a lot invested in him and we can’t really judge the move until the end of the playoffs … if he doesn’t play better and they lose it will be fair to question their investment in him

happy for u frogbs

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Sunday, 20 June 2021 05:29 (five years ago)

Incredible game. Stil can’t believe Brook didn’t know there was only 2s on the shot clock. If they woulda lost…

Wild they won that with jrue and Middleton shooting like 5% for most of the game.

pure rim rest (Spottie), Sunday, 20 June 2021 06:09 (five years ago)

Not sure who’s shooting problems were worse that series: j Harris vs jrue

pure rim rest (Spottie), Sunday, 20 June 2021 06:19 (five years ago)

harris just totally disappeared

lag∞n, Sunday, 20 June 2021 13:01 (five years ago)

I was rooting for Brooklyn because of the Jackie Robinson and Dr. J connections, but I guess it's good in general when such a blatant checkbook team doesn't win.

I don't follow basketball closely enough to know if a) Harden selflessly did everything he could coming back from an injury, or b) Harden cost them the game--he was pretty bad shooting 3s last night.

clemenza, Sunday, 20 June 2021 13:08 (five years ago)

both

lag∞n, Sunday, 20 June 2021 13:08 (five years ago)

Harden was pretty bad, a lot of his shots looked way short as soon as they went up and even the big 3 he made in the 4th was a side bank shot which uh I don't think he was intending to do

still hyped up rn, figured we'd either be looking at a Nets blowout or one of those games where the Bucks get up 15-20 in the 1st and then slowly let them get back into it. instead it was an insane back and forth game with like 20 lead changes and tons of ridiculous shit like Giannis coming within 0.0001s of the buzzer beater or Durant's size 26 shoes costing them the game. KD obviously the best player in this series but man Giannis really came through, feels like this is his first legacy defining playoff game

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 14:38 (five years ago)

I really liked how Giannis suddenly learned how to make free throws midway through the game

symsymsym, Sunday, 20 June 2021 15:20 (five years ago)

Other than the 2 he airballed lol

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 15:36 (five years ago)

it was a rollercoaster

symsymsym, Sunday, 20 June 2021 15:37 (five years ago)

Yah giannis went toe to toe w Durant imo. Middleton figured it out at some point in that game. Jrue played horrible but hit two of the biggest shots in the game.

The nets are gonna be scary good next year if they can stay healthy. Year two of the out if no where super team is usually the best version.

pure rim rest (Spottie), Sunday, 20 June 2021 15:47 (five years ago)

people were making a lot of comparisons to Bledsoe last night but what they're forgetting is how useless Bled was on defense. he literally just stood around half the defensive possessions, it was bizarre. Holiday at least managed to disrupt a lot. as far as his shooting goes idk what to say, he's just running super cold. I didn't think he was taking particularly bad shots, in fact they ran some pretty great plays to get him open, he was just rimming out a ton

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 15:51 (five years ago)

he was also not even close on others but it wasn't like Bledsoe where he was just chucking the instant the Bucks got down 2 possessions

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 15:54 (five years ago)

harden’s obviously a great player, but not so great that there shouldn’t have been better options than having him play 50+ minutes on one hammy and shooting like that. where was the nets’ terance mann, or even pat connaughton?

otoh brooklyn’s offense seemed to largely rely on clearing out and letting either durant or harden beat someone, and even a wounded harden can at least create his own shot by stepping back or jumping into someone. just seems like there should have been a more imaginative plan than telling your 1.5 healthy stars to go win it by themselves

mookieproof, Sunday, 20 June 2021 16:16 (five years ago)

They traded them for Harden.

Still boggles my mind that the Nets found a way to lose Game 3

frogbs, Sunday, 20 June 2021 17:18 (five years ago)

I still think the nets need to make some moves. When they were healthy this season they were an awful defensive team.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 20 June 2021 18:42 (five years ago)

I also think they don’t have the best coach tbh

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 20 June 2021 18:42 (five years ago)

What moves can they make? Trade Harris I guess? Sign n trade dinwiddie?

pure rim rest (Spottie), Sunday, 20 June 2021 19:15 (five years ago)

thats probably it. trade on claxton's potential would be another move, altho he's p darn good. he shoulda got more playing time.

class project pat (m bison), Sunday, 20 June 2021 19:20 (five years ago)

they ca use their mle to get a good vet, too. just sign pj tucker lol

class project pat (m bison), Sunday, 20 June 2021 19:21 (five years ago)

Or Blake hah

pure rim rest (Spottie), Sunday, 20 June 2021 19:26 (five years ago)

Yeah are they keeping Blake? I could see him looking at the lakers or even Miami.
