i’m unable to discern what paul george’s defensive impact is supposed to be at this point. mitchell is treating him like he doesn’t exist

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 02:39 (five years ago)

his defensive prowess has been dramatically overstated for many years now.

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 02:40 (five years ago)

Yeah if Giannis could hit FTs I think they’d have a title by now

frogbs, Friday, 11 June 2021 02:40 (five years ago)

donovan mitchell is 2" shorter than steph curry

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 02:41 (five years ago)

There was a period of time a couple years ago where he was making 3s in big spots and I remember a lot of NBA writers saying that was the missing piece that was gonna make him the best player in the league. I’m guessing he may have read some of these articles

― frogbs, Thursday, June 10, 2021 10:36 PM (three minutes ago) bookmarkflaglink

this started innocently and was based on his unexpected success as a lead ballhandler; everyone then made a kind of bad assumption that if he could dribble and pass he could learn to shoot. it's certainly gotten in his head for a variety of understandable reasons but his next coach needs to be someone who can convince him to make another major change to the way he plays.

i’m starting to wonder if the bucks were too emotionally invested in beating the heat. like it was a huge psychic hurdle which everyone treated as a major development for the franchise but in reality all they did was win a first round series.

― J0rdan S., Thursday, June 10, 2021 10:38 PM (four minutes ago) bookmarkflaglink

i think it's simpler than this, they lack composure when it gets hard because their coach has a lengthy record of not meeting the moment

call all destroyer, Friday, 11 June 2021 02:44 (five years ago)

yah their is no gameplan at all when things get tight. clear out for giannis is not the move. clear out for khris is a little better but still not what they should be doing every possession with 3 minutes left in the game.

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 02:47 (five years ago)

Right I mean I’ve watched a lot of Bucks basketball since Bud came on and this is just….not how they play when they’re winning

frogbs, Friday, 11 June 2021 03:00 (five years ago)

Ty lue is not scared to shake things up huh

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 03:02 (five years ago)

Combined 3 points in 68 minutes bropez and tucker.

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 03:13 (five years ago)

yeah PJ is just kinda…. out there

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 03:32 (five years ago)

realize this might be kinda obv but that game
made me severely doubt that the bucks can win a title this year even if they somehow won this series you can’t win 4 playoff series playing that way

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 03:34 (five years ago)

Clippers switched to a zone and it seems like a way better idea

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 June 2021 03:52 (five years ago)

bad call, bad challenge

micah, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:13 (five years ago)

been a lot of really bad challenges in the offs

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 04:19 (five years ago)

given the way the jazz are shooting it seems like this one is gonna come back to utah 2-2

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 04:20 (five years ago)

bud challenging when middleton got three shots because he was hunting for a flagrant was particularly doofusy

symsymsym, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:30 (five years ago)

We don’t need to see Ballmer celebrating as often as we are forced to see it

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:37 (five years ago)

tuned out when jazz were up like 18 and tuned back in for that reggie jackson sequence, hmmmm

Clay, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:38 (five years ago)

Owner reaction shots are over used.

Reggie Jackson has been really good!

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:39 (five years ago)

jazz come right back and make 2 insane shots haha

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 04:41 (five years ago)

That Kawhi coast to coast dunk will be slept on but it was truly bananas

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:43 (five years ago)

it was nasty

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 04:43 (five years ago)

jazz just making every shot basically

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 04:48 (five years ago)

its a good strategy, more teams should try it

class project pat (m bison), Friday, 11 June 2021 04:49 (five years ago)

jingles jingling

micah, Friday, 11 June 2021 04:50 (five years ago)

bojan has been impressive tonight

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 04:51 (five years ago)

this feels like it’s gonna be a repeat of the clippers-mavs series with the twist that the clippers have to go on the road for game 7

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 05:01 (five years ago)

The Jazz didn’t have to do much to get Clarkson, Ingles and Bogdanovic and it’s worked out as spectacularly as you could imagine. I just believe in the whole thing now. Clarkson in particular I was just totally wrong about.

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 11 June 2021 14:40 (five years ago)

tbf he was down and out then went to the jazz and boom an incredible year cant do anything except tip your cap

lag∞n, Friday, 11 June 2021 14:50 (five years ago)

san antonio’s own jordan clarkson

class project pat (m bison), Friday, 11 June 2021 15:17 (five years ago)

crazy that him, taurean prince, and andre roberson were on the same HS team

class project pat (m bison), Friday, 11 June 2021 15:18 (five years ago)

the great thing about clarkson on the jazz is that they only need the perfect amount of him, they can ride his hot streaks but have enough ball handling and scoring without him and don’t need to play him at the ends of games. they found the equilibrium

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 16:20 (five years ago)

lol that security guard last night was kds bodyguard

further nets fan research

Nets stans are the worst. I’ve started meeting some online and in person and they’re usually type of person who unironically stans Roc Nation brunch and woke billionaires

— T. (@RickyRawls) June 11, 2021

lag∞n, Friday, 11 June 2021 17:26 (five years ago)

“i’ve started meeting some online and in person” is killing me for some reason

J0rdan S., Friday, 11 June 2021 17:29 (five years ago)

lol at both of those

Spottie, Friday, 11 June 2021 17:29 (five years ago)

The Milwaukee Bucks were led by their two stars last night, Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo, in their win over the Brooklyn Nets 86-83.

Nhex, Friday, 11 June 2021 23:43 (five years ago)

Clay, Friday, 11 June 2021 23:46 (five years ago)

lag∞n, Friday, 11 June 2021 23:46 (five years ago)

ciderpress, Saturday, 12 June 2021 00:16 (five years ago)

captures the spirit of that game pretty well

symsymsym, Saturday, 12 June 2021 00:19 (five years ago)

dwights hair is insane and awful

lag∞n, Saturday, 12 June 2021 00:21 (five years ago)

yeah he looks like a doll with stylable hair that someone gave to a very creative child

call all destroyer, Saturday, 12 June 2021 01:03 (five years ago)

Capela has been really quiet this series

Heez, Saturday, 12 June 2021 01:17 (five years ago)

embiid is pretty much worst case for him on both ends of the court

call all destroyer, Saturday, 12 June 2021 01:18 (five years ago)

embiid when hes drawing tons of fouls is just very tough to deal with

lag∞n, Saturday, 12 June 2021 01:40 (five years ago)

Embiid just hits the floor so much, in situations where he really doesn’t need to

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 12 June 2021 01:57 (five years ago)
