Giannis should just be a post player but it may be too late

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 17:06 (five years ago)

he should just not worry about the ft shooting i mean even if you miss half of your free throws its still a positive play

― lag∞n, Tuesday, June 8, 2021 11:29 AM (two hours ago) bookmarkflaglink

What about if you miss 70%? Asking for a Simmonsfriend.

Vin Jawn (PBKR), Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:10 (five years ago)

conley out for tonight

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:14 (five years ago)

at a certain point you do have to just be like, fuck it i'm going to dominate, send me to the line if you want but my goal in this game is to dunk on your head repeatedly. go check out shaq's FT numbers in the playoffs, he was shooting 50% but going to the line 12-15 times per game. he didn't shoot less FTs in the offs compared to the regular season he actually shot more. giannis averages 10 FTs per game in the regular season and has shot 10 total FTs in this series.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:19 (five years ago)

it does underscore how insane it is that embiid shoots 86% from the line tho, wtf are you supposed to do

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:21 (five years ago)

embiid went 14-15 from the line vs the hawks, 39 points. insane

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:22 (five years ago)

jokic is a less traditionally dominant interior guy but he shoots mid 80s too, really tough to find a weak spot when they can score any which way

k3vin k., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:50 (five years ago)

def. he shoots only 5-6 FTs per game but it’s understandable given how nasty he is when playing away from the basket. he’s indefensible for other reasons

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 18:52 (five years ago)

jokic doesnt seek contact, hes not scared of it but he's so crafty in the way he scores he doesnt to have to resort to those tactics

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 19:41 (five years ago)

another big who shoots p well at FTs is ayton

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 19:42 (five years ago)

kevin harlan was awesome last night. so much better having them be in the building and being able to react in real time like this

I will never forget this sequence man pic.twitter.com/Bmi2T2i4W9

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 20:05 (five years ago)

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 20:07 (five years ago)

true kevin harlan is the greatest, love how he went quiet after the oop and let the crowd noise do the talking

the mai tai quinn (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 8 June 2021 20:14 (five years ago)

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 20:21 (five years ago)

Austin Rivers has seen Chris Paul pull this off a time or two. Tried to warn Millsap pic.twitter.com/Lec7sQ9m3r

— Kellan Olson (@KellanOlson) June 8, 2021

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 20:32 (five years ago)

imagine how annoyed you’d be if you were playing defense and austin rivers was yelling instructions at you from the bench

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 21:21 (five years ago)

He’s a good defender. Why do you guys hate him so much

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 21:33 (five years ago)

Stench of nepotism?

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Tuesday, 8 June 2021 21:50 (five years ago)

gilbert arenas

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 June 2021 22:28 (five years ago)

he never won mvp

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 22:29 (five years ago)

willis reid, right, but to be fair he wouldn't have been a second-rounder if there were more than 9 teams in the nba when he was drafted.

the mai tai quinn (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 8 June 2021 22:30 (five years ago)

*reed

the mai tai quinn (voodoo chili), Tuesday, 8 June 2021 22:30 (five years ago)

true. this feels way different for sure.

Spottie, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 22:31 (five years ago)

little known fact but lebron james was a 44th pick

Clay, Tuesday, 8 June 2021 22:33 (five years ago)

None of the eight franchises remaining in the N.B.A. playoffs have won a championship since the league’s 16-team playoff format was instituted in 1983-84. Seventeen of the N.B.A.’s last 22 championships have been won by the Los Angeles Lakers, San Antonio, Golden State and Miami.

Only eight players left in the playoffs have won an N.B.A. championship ring, but none with their current team. Philadelphia’s Danny Green and Denver’s JaVale McGee have won three rings each. The Nets’ Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard and Rajon Rondo of the Los Angeles Clippers have two rings apiece. The Nets’ Kyrie Irving, Philadelphia’s Dwight Howard and the Clippers’ Serge Ibaka are one-time champions.

true but if we arbitrarily focus on the last 9 seasons including this one, there've been 7 different champs

idk what this means

The first-place vote for Derrick Rose was a cumulative fan vote for the MVP award rather than a media member, league spokesman Tim Frank confirms.

Embiid makes moves sometimes that no 7 ft player should be able to make.
