can’t believe the suns are for real tbh
― Clay, Friday, 4 June 2021 05:30 (five years ago)
wow, sounds like they broke bron while i slept huh
― Draymond is "Mr Dumpy" (forksclovetofu), Friday, 4 June 2021 05:36 (five years ago)
suns were so done after game 3 really
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Friday, 4 June 2021 06:14 (five years ago)
book in games 5 and 6: 77 points, 78 minutes, 28-45 fg, 10-16 from 3, 11-11 FT. 4 turnovers
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Friday, 4 June 2021 06:17 (five years ago)
that was extremely bizarre. and then on the second possession where he walked slowly up the court so he could yell at the ref the suns held the ball so long that he was forced back into defense, ended up on chris paul, called KCP onto him so he could switch onto crowder and then just stood there motionless at the elbow as crowder hit a 3 to end the game
― Spottie, Friday, 4 June 2021 06:32 (five years ago)
it was deeply odd seeing lebron lose out before the finals. ive actually never seen that before
― micah, Friday, 4 June 2021 07:30 (five years ago)
"what on earth is lebron doing"
I only watched the highlights but sounds like what he was doing was a re-enactment of his behavior during ECF vs Celts Big 3
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 4 June 2021 07:44 (five years ago)
it was a Kobe homage. Specifically to Kobe's behavior in game 7 2006 when he was eliminated by the suns

feel like we used to have an unwritten agreement on here to not bring up each others old bad opinions, which was nice― lag∞n,
knicks in 7― lag∞n,
― Heez, Friday, 4 June 2021 13:42 (five years ago)
i only did that one for fun
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 13:52 (five years ago)
congrats to me for picking the suns tho, that one was a serious pick, a lock if you will
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 13:54 (five years ago)
all in good fun goon. i think philly/atl goes 7
― Heez, Friday, 4 June 2021 13:59 (five years ago)
if the mavs win i dont actually care which way either west semi goes which is a weird situation, theres always been a villain team before
― ciderpress, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:03 (five years ago)

totally dependent on embiids health, unfortunately
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:11 (five years ago)
I'm not rooting for LeBron to retire, but it will be nice to have an NBA with a post LeBron vs MJ discourse
― Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Friday, 4 June 2021 14:11 (five years ago)
they wont stop tho lol
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:12 (five years ago)
theres no one whos near to entering the debate so theyll just keep doing that one, tho granted prob with less intensity or frequency
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:13 (five years ago)
would be neat to see lebron hit #1 career points hes only gotta play like 2 more full seasons to do it
― ciderpress, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:15 (five years ago)
yeah prob 3 more to be safe at the rate hes been missing games recently
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:17 (five years ago)
one would think hell get there but i wouldnt put it at quite guaranteed lock status
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:19 (five years ago)
look I ain't counting out the most freakish athlete of our generation but this had a big "last decent season" vibe to it, playing a zillion minutes has got to take its toll someday. as Jon Bois discovered the man has literally spent 0.3% of his life on the court in an NBA game
― frogbs, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:25 (five years ago)
hes played 3 extra seasons worth of playoff games! and 18 regular seasons, of which he missed very few games, and played big minutes
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:27 (five years ago)
if he absolutely has his heart set on that record then outside of catastrophic injury theres prob no stopping him but does anyone want to see 43 y/o lebron putting up 15 points a game for the cavs
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:29 (five years ago)
holy shit if he can still put up 5 a game at age 43, absolutely
― class project pat (m bison), Friday, 4 June 2021 14:38 (five years ago)
i dont see why he wouldnt be able to, what we saw in this series is prob pretty close to healthy 43 year old lebron
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:39 (five years ago)
i mean jordan scored 20 at 40 and he didnt have the size or strength of bron
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:40 (five years ago)
Lebron just doesn’t have fun playing basketball anymore.
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:40 (five years ago)
yeah he seems kind of obsessed with his legacy, too much espn
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:41 (five years ago)
He always finds a way to challenge himself tho, he needs to figure out what that is
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:41 (five years ago)
i want the full bron experience. i want to see him break kareem's scoring record, join whichever team drafts bronny, i want to see him dunk on someone half his age. he should just run up the score on his career accolades.
― class project pat (m bison), Friday, 4 June 2021 14:43 (five years ago)
it was not fun when he joined the lakers tbh, at least with the heatles it was an nwo heal turn kind of fun, the cleveland return and championship was a delight, this just felt mercenarial from jump. now he and AD's cap hit and the asset purge needed to get AD preclude them from getting significantly better.
if he wanted to go full messy, he could demand a trade lol
― class project pat (m bison), Friday, 4 June 2021 14:46 (five years ago)
yeah going to the lakers was so much worse than the heat cause a. its the lakers b. at least the heat had one home grown star c. the heat played fun basketball and this lakers team does not
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:49 (five years ago)
will be interesting to see what he looks like next season with a long by his standards offseason. it does feel like we’ve reached the stage where he’s limited by his body in normal human ways that he never was before.
― circles, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:49 (five years ago)
yeah hes started getting inured the last few years where he never was before
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:51 (five years ago)
before he came to the lakers his lowest season games played over 15 seasons were 62 69 74, three years with the lakers 55 67 45
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:53 (five years ago)
in a few years people will probably forget he won a title there since it was during the weird bubble season
― frogbs, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:54 (five years ago)
it basically doesnt count
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:54 (five years ago)
― J0rdan S., Friday, 4 June 2021 14:55 (five years ago)
*looking into a mirror*
i am lebron james and i lost to the suns in the first round
*punches mirror, glass flying*
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:57 (five years ago)
Another prob now is will they attract the normal vets that lebron always plays with? Not sure anyone’s signing up for what they just watched. Lol at kuzmas salary not kicking in til next season. https://www.basketball-reference.com/contracts/LAL.html
― Spottie, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:58 (five years ago)
i think he should go for 40k career points and then call it quits
― ciderpress, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:58 (five years ago)
kuzma is the perfect guy who no one would know his name if he played for the hornets
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 14:59 (five years ago)
totally unclear where the idea that kuzma is good came from even
at least L. Dort is a memorable name to see in the box score. K. Kuzma is nothing.
― ciderpress, Friday, 4 June 2021 15:02 (five years ago)
He almost scored 20ppg on the baby lakers. But if you just watch him play from game to game you know he’s not very good. Typical has one good game every 3-4 games guy
― Spottie, Friday, 4 June 2021 15:02 (five years ago)
we all love lu dort dont we folks
― lag∞n, Friday, 4 June 2021 15:03 (five years ago)
oh wait Dort is OKC the other team no one knows a player on
― ciderpress, Friday, 4 June 2021 15:03 (five years ago)
im p sure kcp and kuzma are on the trade block, but who're they even getting in return for that? i mean if they wanna sign and trade demar, that might be the best they can do. that would give bron another playmaker but would not help their spacing at all.
― class project pat (m bison), Friday, 4 June 2021 15:03 (five years ago)
his rookie year he made some shots as while guys like lonzo and ingram were struggling on a terrible team so he seemed “good” esp for a low draft pick and ppl needed some young guy on the lakers to be good, d’angelo russell was awful too. meanwhile the last two playoff runs he’s been completely inconsequential to their team meanwhile his 3/39 extension hasn’t been kicked in yet, it’s just brutal
