call all destroyer, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 15:55 (five years ago)

lag∞n, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 15:57 (five years ago)

G R A V I T Y 🪐

“The Warriors led the league in dunks this year despite not having anyone in the top 17. Rudy Gobert led the NBA with 231 dunks this season. Nobody on the Warriors made more than 84. The team total was 370 dunks spread across the roster.” https://t.co/AojiAMHhrK

Fetchboy, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 18:04 (five years ago)

going to murder whoever placed the names above and below the players at random in that goldsberry chart

k3vin k., Tuesday, 18 May 2021 18:54 (five years ago)

it was probably goldsberry

lag∞n, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 18:58 (five years ago)

its just the bottom row that has them below, def not a great design choice tho

lag∞n, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 18:59 (five years ago)

names arent even needed on that

i was too much listening to your accent (Spottie), Tuesday, 18 May 2021 19:04 (five years ago)

lol, glad I'm not the only one. I kept thinking, "they mislabeled cp3!"

Deicide at Chuck E. Cheese (PBKR), Tuesday, 18 May 2021 19:28 (five years ago)

it wouldn't be *as* bad if you could see the little hex outline around each zone. why is it so faint??

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 19:44 (five years ago)

lol at zion leading the league on goals scored from already within the basket

Clay, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 23:06 (five years ago)

zion meta-fgs champ

Clay, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 23:06 (five years ago)

thats the way to do it

lag∞n, Tuesday, 18 May 2021 23:28 (five years ago)

so play-in stats don't count in regular season totals.... nor in playoff totals!

Tracer Hand, Friday, 21 May 2021 16:12 (five years ago)

ghost stats

lag∞n, Friday, 21 May 2021 16:17 (five years ago)

its the playoffs. thats pretty lame

i was too much listening to your accent (Spottie), Friday, 21 May 2021 16:17 (five years ago)

yeah why would they not be playoff stats?

call all destroyer, Friday, 21 May 2021 16:19 (five years ago)

cause its the playins

lag∞n, Friday, 21 May 2021 16:27 (five years ago)

foil cover variant stats

Draymond is "Mr Dumpy" (forksclovetofu), Friday, 21 May 2021 19:53 (five years ago)

imo they should count as reg season stats

class project pat (m bison), Friday, 21 May 2021 22:35 (five years ago)

nah for sure they should be playoff stats, don’t see now anyone could object to this tbh

k3vin k., Saturday, 22 May 2021 00:06 (five years ago)

bc its not the playoffs

class project pat (m bison), Saturday, 22 May 2021 00:09 (five years ago)

it's post-season activity ergo

Clay, Saturday, 22 May 2021 00:13 (five years ago)

purgaseason

class project pat (m bison), Saturday, 22 May 2021 00:22 (five years ago)

what a totally insane season he had

8 players attempted at least 100 step-back 3s this year.

Only one made at least 37% of them - Steph Curry, who made 47% of his 161 step-back attempts this year!

if he didnt break his tailbone they woulda been a 5-6 seed :(

i was too much listening to your accent (Spottie), Wednesday, 26 May 2021 15:21 (five years ago)

think they wouldve had a tough time in the offs regardless just cause they didnt have enough other offense to keep teams from completely loading up on him

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 May 2021 15:23 (five years ago)

that shot map is otherworldly. it would have been very frustrating seeing the dubs woefully poor at supporting him in the playoffs, but still sux that we don't get to see any more of him this season

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Wednesday, 26 May 2021 15:27 (five years ago)

Luka Doncic, Now With More Midrangehttps://t.co/mzsc3xGsdH pic.twitter.com/8ZgDrslxWS

— Kirk Goldsberry (@kirkgoldsberry) May 28, 2021

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 16:07 (five years ago)

if he’s gonna hit deep threes and midrange and make the right pass to an open shooter every time you swarm him he’s basically indefensible

J0rdan S., Friday, 28 May 2021 16:55 (five years ago)

yeah passing is so key to his game guys are scared to leave their mans to double him

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 17:12 (five years ago)

just turned 22 a few months ago, you have to assume he's gonna be one of these guys who works on his game and adds something every offseason. never want to count your chickens but he is definitely on track for a LeBron-esque career

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Friday, 28 May 2021 17:14 (five years ago)

yeah the things hes done at his age are not normal, theyre not normal for any age!

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 17:27 (five years ago)

It’s weird, before he came into the league, I thought luka would be more of a conventional wing and that his lack of elite running & jumping athleticism might limit him. but watching him now it feels like he’s really a big, high-scoring point guard and his skills are perfectly suited to it

circles, Friday, 28 May 2021 18:12 (five years ago)

hes such an unusual player as far as how he gets his points, he uses his great first step to get to the second level then kind of bullies and hesitates his way around until he hits any number of weird touch shots or perfect passes, his 3pt game is a little more in line with your elite high usage guys as far as a lot of dribbling leading into stepbacks and so forth

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 18:20 (five years ago)

feel like i should mention his crossover too which is great and key to all this stuff

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 18:21 (five years ago)

like that shot chart hes just scoring from all over the paint who does that

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 18:32 (five years ago)

getting middle so constantly like that makes his passing work too

lag∞n, Friday, 28 May 2021 18:33 (five years ago)

Luka now has 4 career 40 point playoff games. That’s the same as:

Melo, Duncan, Dame, Kawhi, Karl Malone had in their careers.

It’s more than:
Kyrie, Pierce, AD, Ewing, Moses, Giannis, Isiah has in their careers.

He’s 22 years old and has played 11 career playoff games.

— nick wright (@getnickwright) June 3, 2021

With his next 40 point playoff game, Luka will move into a tie for 20th ALL TIME. He’ll tie Barkley, Bird, Havlicek, McAdoo, Petit & Dominique.

We are watching a true phenomenon.
