Probably not but falling into the play-in game vs. Curry on the nuclear tear he's on currently isn't either. Lakers are in a lose-lose-situation; even if Bron and AD somehow OK'd the idea of slowing it down for the rest of this season in favor of long term health (which they won't considering Bron is pushing 40 and has limited time left to compete now) they can't even hope to miraculously luck into a decent lotto pick as some sort of compensation cause they owe it to the Pels if it's anything higher than 9 this year. Only path for them is to limp into the playoffs and hope for a favorable first round matchup that'll allow them time to bring AD up to speed in.

if it was originally called a foul by the ref on the floor, then there's a tendency to want really clear visual evidence to overturn it. i think their outlook is that we (refs) get lots of shit w/o us (refs) dumping on each other.
