A little late to the convo but Zion's height/length aren't that dissimilar from PJ Tucker but he's quicker and more athletic despite having 40 lbs on PJ. If anything's gonna hold him back from being a great defender it's that he seems like just a really nice guy. He needs to get on twitter to learn the art of getting mad at imaginary takes.

that’s an interesting comparison. i think the main difference is that PJ tucker was able to take (and deal) a lot of punishment down low on defense bcuz the only thing asked of him on offense was to stand in the corner and shoot threes. zion would have to be in great physical shape and have good durability luck to play like that on defense while also being the pelicans’ main ball handler and creator. but maybe on switches or in certain line ups he’s be able to anchor himself in the post the way tucker did

speaking of tucker has he been giving the bucks anything since they acquired him?

He got hurt like one game into his bucks tenure and he’s just getting back.

it's nate duncan and danny leroux. i think they do a pretty good job. nate sees off-ball actions really well for someone who is also doing play by play.

we need an alternate nerd feed and a comedy feed for each game, is how i break it down to an extent. sometimes they could be same one. i can’t believe that it’s 2021 and it’s like even jomboy represents some unattainable bar for commentary.

feel like some sort of low key more conversational feed with less play by play might be good sometimes

yeah, a podcast “friendship simulator” style feed would just work, it’s obvious, and it doesn’t even need to be exclusive, you could have the bodega boys do one, jomboy do one, fuckin... seth myers do one if there’s demand for it. idgi. you could use clubhouse or any of the new live social audio feeds.
