I'd pick Jalen Suggs over Cade.

Skill levels are comparable, but Suggs wins out because of his motor.

Cade is just (seemingly) passive enough to make me worry that he won't have the impact he *should* have.

I was thinking more along the lines of at least half a dozen unforced turnovers, silly fouls, and missing a ton of wide open threes. But, taking all those into consideration, it is more than fair to say Michigan out-executed them.

i'd echo aimless in that UofO/OSU is rarely a bitter thing, but statewide there's a pretty pronounced urban/rural divide (UofO being a classic lib arts campus while OSU is historically more of an agricultural school, tho it's transitioned to a lot of biotech etc type in-demand sciences in recent decades)

xp seems like they played a team that didn’t make those mistakes and also assisted on 19 of 29 field goals

I'm kinda surprised and pleased that UCLA beat Michigan. Gonzaga is definitely looking like the top dog this year. Baylor is intermittently fantastic, but uneven. Houston and UCLA would have to play over their heads to beat either 1 seed.

there’s been 3 amazing final four games that have ended in long distance buzzer beaters in the last 5 years (villanova-UNC, duke-butler) which can only happen in college bcuz you can’t advance the ball lol
