you know who’s a guy who’s turning 36 soon and having a really nice season is chris paul
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 17 February 2021 10:11 (five years ago)
Remember like 8 years ago when Chris Paul’s knees were reportedly arthritic and his career was ending soonish
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 17 February 2021 15:45 (five years ago)
he really did looked cooked at the beginning of last season but he leveled up pretty quick.
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Wednesday, 17 February 2021 15:52 (five years ago)
Another great Timberwolves victory* last night
*being competitive for a large part of the game then losing by a few points at the end
― Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Wednesday, 17 February 2021 16:22 (five years ago)
Would you trade any of the 4 young studs for him?
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 8:50 PM (yesterday) bookmarkflaglink
Actually I guess you would because you have too many guards right? I would take white for sure
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 8:54 PM (yesterday) bookmarkflaglink
poison pill provision kinda makes this impossible til next season, but white would fit in so well in den, least of all bc hometown kid. can play on or off ball, pairs nice with anyone in the backcourt. gives you harris' D skill but can shoot.
― class project pat (m bison), Wednesday, 17 February 2021 17:19 (five years ago)
the nuggets would do that deal if the spurs threw in like 3 first round picks
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 17 February 2021 17:54 (five years ago)
You think MPJ’s value is that high rn? I honestly don’t know
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 17 February 2021 23:26 (five years ago)
he would look amazing on a worse team
― micah, Wednesday, 17 February 2021 23:40 (five years ago)
i think a lot of teams would still be pretty enamored with his offensive potential. i wonder if any of the teams that red flagged him medically would revisit that.
― call all destroyer, Wednesday, 17 February 2021 23:52 (five years ago)
3 first round picks might be high but it would def need to be 2 firsts if a player like derrick white is the main piece coming back
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 17 February 2021 23:57 (five years ago)
derrick white is Actually Good, shut up
― class project pat (m bison), Thursday, 18 February 2021 00:01 (five years ago)
Jokic said some nice things after the game last night, it’s just so jarring to see how he reacts to bad plays from MPJ tho. Doesn’t do it for anyone else
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 18 February 2021 00:19 (five years ago)
couple of embarrassing losses in a row for the nuggs, not great stuff
― k3vin k., Thursday, 18 February 2021 03:36 (five years ago)
this is a cursed season for so many good teams
― class project pat (m bison), Thursday, 18 February 2021 03:43 (five years ago)
uhh losing to the celtics is not "embarrassing"
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 03:57 (five years ago)
Those fouls by Jamychal at the end of the game were tough scenes
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 18 February 2021 04:08 (five years ago)
dame with 43 & 16 assists and the game winning and one not bad
― Clay, Thursday, 18 February 2021 04:29 (five years ago)
And Zion with 36 on 12-18 shooting and like 5 straight clutch FTs... and again doesn't touch the ball once on the final possession while Zo and Ingram brick horrible selfish shots back to back. Coaching staff, FO, and the players on that team better wake up and realize who the man undeniably is on that team sooner rather than later...
― Sabre of Paradise (trevor phillips), Thursday, 18 February 2021 04:33 (five years ago)
Absolutely inspired Kent Bazemore game.
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Thursday, 18 February 2021 06:41 (five years ago)
Good highlights on that pdx/nop game. Dame is a legit mvp candidate rn
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Thursday, 18 February 2021 06:51 (five years ago)
I’m loving Baze.
― DJI, Thursday, 18 February 2021 07:04 (five years ago)
speaking of good teams having cursed seasons and suffering embarrassing losses, heat just lost to the clippers w/o PG, kawhi or pat bev and then lost to the warriors w/o draymond in a game where steph shot 5-23 from the field. they have the kings tomorrow night on a b2b in the midst of a 7 game road trip and if they lose that one too it will be very messy
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 February 2021 08:02 (five years ago)
they were up by 15 in the 4th. weird team
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Thursday, 18 February 2021 08:33 (five years ago)
butlers performance or focus doesnt seem to be stable. he had some uncharacteristic lapses
― micah, Thursday, 18 February 2021 08:44 (five years ago)
putting aside the lakers who have the most superhuman basketball player ever the three other teams who made the bubble conference finals are a combined 40-44 so far this year
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 February 2021 15:48 (five years ago)
i know some of this is bc of fanlessness, but honestly with the dissolution of the superdubs and with an influx of young talent, i think some of this is driven by parity driven by improvements in 3-point shooting.
― class project pat (m bison), Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:22 (five years ago)
*and by
weird seasons
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:24 (five years ago)
bubble wasnt normal and this season isnt normal
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:25 (five years ago)
true
― class project pat (m bison), Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:26 (five years ago)
bubble was excusable even admirable tbh but this year giving teams less time to practice before and during the season is not great, they really were just trying to get it over with which from a business perspective fine, but the basketball has suffered
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:27 (five years ago)
i wldnt really blame the celtics struggles on that tho, they lost hayward and have had a bunch of injuries, and their depth was very poor before all that
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:29 (five years ago)
There was some officiating in the past two Nuggets games that was kind of embarrassing. Not like biased or anything but just incompetent. The whole season has this loose feel.
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:32 (five years ago)
yeah it does
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:33 (five years ago)
im sure the players are generally not performing at their very highest level what with *gestures* all this
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:36 (five years ago)
good year for some team to fuck around and win. like the league-leading jazz.
― class project pat (m bison), Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:36 (five years ago)
yeah if i were them id go ahead and win, great opportunity
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:38 (five years ago)
kinda funny theyre clicking what with having the big virus drama
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:39 (five years ago)
right now i’m not sure we have any reason to believe this year is more “real” than the bubble & honestly i might argue the opposite
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:40 (five years ago)
i’m wondering how much the lack of offseason is affecting those three teams
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:41 (five years ago)
― J0rdan S., Thursday, February 18, 2021 11:40 AM (one minute ago) bookmarkflaglink
agree w/this
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:43 (five years ago)
― J0rdan S., Thursday, February 18, 2021 11:41 AM (two minutes ago) bookmarkflaglink
im sure the answer isnt not at all
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:44 (five years ago)
also bubble had a compressed schedule and this season has a compressed schedule so its a short offseason with more games than usual on either side
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:45 (five years ago)
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:49 (five years ago)
also anthony davis is having some sort of achilles issue...
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:49 (five years ago)
i haven’t watched the celtics or nuggets as closely but the heat have just looked raggedy and kinda out of it all season
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:50 (five years ago)
i have watched the celtics and nuggets and raggedy and kinda out of it pretty much captures it
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:52 (five years ago)
most notably the celtics have been at least a good defensive team the whole brad stevens era and they are just a mess on that end this year
― lag∞n, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:53 (five years ago)
Bucks are another one, they haven't looked like themselves since the bubble started really
― frogbs, Thursday, 18 February 2021 16:56 (five years ago)
feel like the bucks are experimenting a bit this season? probably a good idea.
