Incredible comeback. Kelly’s best game dubs win another one with Steph not playing that great. 2nd unit looks solid

why is kuzma playing in crunch time?
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 05:47 (three years ago) link
seems like schroeder-KCP-bron-AD is gonna be their four at the end and the fifth will just be whoever is hot out of their hodgepodge of other role players
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 19 January 2021 05:49 (three years ago) link
the margin of error for the dubs vs these A level teams but steph + draymond + anyone making a three pointer is still just very very good offense. steph looks like one of the 5 best players in the league to me, draymond is still so good getting on the pick and roll and going downhill... they really just need oubre or wiggins or someone to be able to catch a pass and make a shot. it makes so much sense on paper lol
paschall was good tonight
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 19 January 2021 06:02 (three years ago) link
Kerr probably needs to play more Lee next to curry. I could see their best lineup being curry Lee wig oubre dray. Paschal leading the 2nd unit as a small ball center is working. I’m kinda worried about wiseman. If the dubs want to win games this season they probably shouldn’t be playing him. Dude has hands of stone and needs time... but they shouldn’t squander any season with a healthy Steph.
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 06:08 (three years ago) link
they had to play looney tonight bcuz of AD but vs other teams they should be able to move dray to 5 and get someone else on the floor... i know they're already $845 million over the tax but i wonder if they can find one more player who could reasonably play crunch time for them in that fifth role

Blazers have had a rough go last few years. No nurk or CJ for the next month will prob knock them outta the playoff hunt.

Wednesday will be Kyrie Irving's first game in Cleveland since Opening Night in 2017-18: Oct. 17, 2017Irving also apologized to Nets fans for his absence, noting his relationship with the team began as a fan, and said he "just needed a pause" due to "family and personal stuff" https://t.co/U8ihyQO0T8— Marc Stein (@TheSteinLine) January 19, 2021

lonnie is one of the best athletes in the league as far as guards go... he's also a really explosive jumper
skip 25 seconds into this video and watch him on the fast break pick his dribble up at the three point line take two giants steps, jump sideways from the middle of the lane and get an and 1

― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 19 January 2021 20:27 (three years ago) link
lonnie had 2 great games when demar was out, and he's been...kinda passive before and after that.
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:17 (three years ago) link
like, demar is having a career year in many respects and finally looks like someone who would justify being your team's no 1 or 2 guy, but his high usage takes away opportunities from lonnie to grow in that same shot creator role. so he ends up being a 3 and D guy which he's p good at but feels like a waste of his gifts.
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:19 (three years ago) link
basically the spurs have a problem of too many good perimeter players.
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:20 (three years ago) link
Honestly shouldn’t they trade demar
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:26 (three years ago) link
100000% sell high while ppl are convinced he can shoot 3s now
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:27 (three years ago) link
imo spurs should be packaging demar with a young player or 2 and 1RPs for ben simmons
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:28 (three years ago) link
they’re having a pretty nice season but they should trade demar, LMA, rudy gay & patty mills for the best offers they can get
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:31 (three years ago) link
keep patty bc he's precious. lamarcus is untradeable, they might be able to get a 2nd rounder and a bad contract in return. just let his contract expire at this pt. rudy looks nice and they shd definitely look at moving him, too. but i fear that the better the spurs do, the more theyre convinced they need to keep everyone.
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:54 (three years ago) link
its a catch 22. if the spurs stink its bc their vets are washed so no one will offer them anything. if the vets play well, the spurs dont want to let them go bc they want to compete. which is the perfect formula for never doing Trades.
― trans-panda express (m bison), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:55 (three years ago) link
they needed to trade LMA last season
― a nice controlled drift (Spottie), Tuesday, 19 January 2021 23:58 (three years ago) link
probably 2017 tbh. mighta been able to keep kawhi.

god i can only hope
― trans-panda express (m bison), Wednesday, 20 January 2021 00:19 (three years ago) link
lma is an expiring this year, doesnt that make him kinda tradeable
― micah, Wednesday, 20 January 2021 00:36 (three years ago) link
maybe to relieve tax burdens, but the 2021 FA class isnt gonna be so hot after all
― trans-panda express (m bison), Wednesday, 20 January 2021 00:37 (three years ago) link
they prob won't be able to get much but pretty much every team in the playoffs needs a 5 who can shoot i assume they could find some interest
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 20 January 2021 00:37 (three years ago) link
wd be huge if he could shoot (.442, .268 from 3)
― trans-panda express (m bison), Wednesday, 20 January 2021 00:39 (three years ago) link
he is the biggest defensive liability for the team and his shot comes and goes, but mostly doesnt go in
― trans-panda express (m bison), Wednesday, 20 January 2021 00:41 (three years ago) link
yeah lma has looked just astonishingly washed this year
― Clay, Wednesday, 20 January 2021 01:17 (three years ago) link
Campazzo is not the problem with Nuggets second unit, they just need some people who actually are threats on the pick and roll. Like Javale would actually be a big improvement.
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 20 January 2021 03:09 (three years ago) link
matt the raptors just released alex len today....
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 20 January 2021 03:19 (three years ago) link
my take on this season is that evaluations of teams are pointless, but evaluations of players are valid and jokic is a solidly top 5 player
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 20 January 2021 04:12 (three years ago) link
Len isn’t great in pick and roll tho... I would say he’s an upgrade on Hartenstein tho
