The only 20-year-olds in history to score 39 points, shoot 55 percent from the field and add at least six rebounds and assists are James, Dončić and Johnson.

AND HE ONLY HAD TWO TURNOVERS: Maxey is the fifth rookie in NBA history to score 39 points with six or more assists and two or fewer turnovers. The others are James, Curry, Jordan and Donovan Mitchell.

yeah it's baffling. he puts up a line like that but also inspired the cavs to give up a first-round pick and take on taurean prince's contract so they could get jarrett allen.

he's the all time rebound percentage leader, higher than dennis rodman. but yeah, it's hard to say how much he actually helps you win.

well, in his first four games he shot 14, 17, 16 and 15 free throws. in his last 7 games he’s had one 15 FTA game vs the knicks otherwise he hasn’t shot more than 6 FTs in a game. so *something* has changed since nash complained whether it’s trae, or how he’s defended or how refs call him

Yeah it’s more than the ft attempts. His little floater is way off and he looks tentative in the lane.

Based on that graphic I conclude CJ McCollum is at least twice as good at scoring the basketball as any other player.

I confess I haven't watched a Wizards game in a good long while but I was surprised at Beal in that midrange spot. Just checked in bref and his shot profile is dramatically shifted this year from 3s to 2s. Only 26% of his shots are 3s, lowest of his career by far.
