I realize this is will lead me to a dark place but I legit like Andrew Wiggins on this team. After that one game early where he looked like a JV high school baller he’s looked really good. The offense will come and go and he doesn’t use his athleticism as much as I’d like but I’ve been legit impressed with his defense:

Wiggins is a bad defender. He does not pass the eye test. Here’s a key part of the eye test: how often does he get into a defensive stance?

from everything i read or heard the concerns ppl had about him coming in -- slow footed, unathletic -- were playing out even in the short time he got on the court

based on the list of players who also suffered the injury it doesn't look like a flat out career ender but given the athleticism questions w/ him to begin w/ it's def stacking the deck against in a deeply concerning way

he......doesn't know what he's talking about

the fact that they have him do a top 50 or whatever is absurd. he is not one of the guys that actually would go to the prep events and watch high school film and scout europe and stuff. he spends most of his time watching, podding, and writing about the nba season. no one can do both jobs.

also he has a show on the ringer and hes not the most appealing to look at person, not just his face but also how he moves it, the way he talks, his grooming and so forth

draft content shouldnt be that try hard ringer type stuff it should be high school game footage with stock music and bullet points like -needs to work on: shooting off the dribble

he'd be a fine like team blogger and by all accounts he's a super nice guy but i don't really take him seriously as far as media guys i trust for analysis

aside from being the most talented of the brothers lamelo is also easily most handsome ... rough luck for the other two especially liangelo

they should come up with a way for NBA players to not hideously turn their ankles, just an idea

i have tiny baby ankles, i wouldn't stand a chance out there

a friend of mine badly sprained his ankle playing pick up in college and i still remember it sounding like a cinder block had been dropped on the court
