i think it’s better for them to have the high paid veteran FA signings be the back ups as opposed to the young guys who need to develop riding the bench, but it’s still kinda weird. that’s why i didn’t quite understand their off season, it’s like they have two teams on one roster. but i guess if bogdan and gallo etc aren’t complaining then it’s not a huge deal, gotta use the cap space somehow

they had a mandate to make the playoffs and buckets of cap space but still have developmental players taking up a third of the roster. it's a tough needle to thread.
