NBA 2020-21 reg season 1st half thread

Hawks quickly losing back to back against the knicks and cavs. They have some serious defensive issues

def a number of suspect defenders on that roster

feel like they haven’t gotten much out of bogdanovic, at least relative to what they’re paying him, and gallo basically hasn’t played. been getting decent production from capela. when you watch them it’s still really trae, huerter, reddish, hunter, and collins — who all have looked pretty good! just still so young idk how much you can expect, def on the defensive end

i like their guys. feels like a primordial version of a future good offense-first team kinda like what the nuggets were 3-4 years ago

i like them too they need more playmaking besides just trae tho

bogdan & gallo will help in that dept but it will be interesting to see how they weave it all together rotation wise especially with reddish & hunter looking pretty good and needing to play. rondo has also been in and out of the rotation for them. there’s a lot to work with they just need to figure out the right combos

watching portland struggle to hang with the bulls is encouraging, they're one of the best teams in the east right

somehow this season is weirder than the one they played inside a bubble

bron is def built/has built his game to play a long time, injuries are what forces most guys out ultimately but hes been almost injury free, who knows if he wants to play till hes 44, it gets harder every year, but he prob can if he does
