the wolves have this weird ability to have good players but still end up a bad team, I can’t quite explain it

two things w/ the wolves are 1. it's hard to win a lot when your two best players are awful on defense 2. their coach only has his job bcuz of a weird nepotism legacy thing that is specific to their franchise only

def worth considering, would prob require further moves to make the roster really work, and also whats the plan as far as resigning him

tim bontemps has been saying that the nets should trade for gobert since nobody on their team wants to or can play defense but deandre jordan is already entrenched in that big 3 so idk if that would work

those kevin o'connor rankings are odd. i think i actually don't agree w/him very often.

gobert has a clear demonstrated desire to be respected and flattered like a "real" superstar and not just a very good player at a devalued position but i highly doubt any team is going to pay him the kind of money he thinks is befitting of the first title. the issue for any team looking to acquire him is that this realization may not hit until he reaches FA

feel like the grizzlies have to be in the bottom 10 teams still. he's bunching them up in weird ways that make it not function as a ranking

I feel like a lot of teams had a much better offseason than the grizz

one thing that hasn't been clear to me on harden to the sixers is whether embiid isn't in the deal because ppl perceive him to be more valuable than simmons or less valuable. bcuz if i'm the rockets i'm def asking for simmons but if i'm the sixers i'm trying to get off embiid, if i had to choose

wld be curious to hear what packages including simmons were uncool to the rockets

i think embiid it too embedded in the organization. like he's tight with one of the big minority owners. i don't think they feel like they can trade him even though it would 100% be the right basketball move.

I think simmons is the more important player too but I would include him in a deal for harden if that was the line -- they need someone to take high volume 3s and that's never going to happen with both simmons and harden on the team. also simmons and harden is an awkward fit imo because you're not thrilled with either of them off the ball

I'm doing the premium. I have usually been able to log into my mom's cable provider account on the app and get NBATV to work I think

as i have moaned about many times there is no way for me to legally receive nbatv without getting a satellite dish. i guess the schedule will be different this year but in years past tuesdays are light on ball, nbatv sucks up the one decent game, and i haven't had a way to watch it.

the scheduled nbatv games aren't available with league pass unless you pay for it, so yeah. it's an additional 7 bucks a month but probably necessary.
BTW, it's cheaper to do this by the month than annually.
