i think with thompson the hope has to be that getting out of cleveland results in some natural bounceback. he's not exactly what they need but he's been a great playoff player in the past so maybe they can catch some lightning in a bottle at the right time.

at the very least he shd be available when theis is getting destroyed by a very big man, best case he plays well enough to take the starting spot

i do think they cld get him a lot of minutes with various small and big lineups so he cld be more than just a backup

its also hard to trade for him without putting romeo in and do the celtics want to trade a second year lottery pick for one year of an overpaid guy, prob not, and would the bulls even want it either idk, celtics prob more likely to trade for someone who makes less where they can just ship a pick out and call it a day

Porter looked a lot healthier in March than he did in oct/nov. I think he was trying to play through some stuff.
