Yah I believe in old Blake more than most. The knee thing tho is troubling

connolly needs to just go into hiding and not make any drastic moves, wait it out till the trade deadline when there are more sellers

the problem with blake is just that any contending team acquiring him would be doing so to have an impact player in the playoffs. and i just don’t think you can have any confidence that he’s going to be able to make it through 3-4 playoff rounds. i would love to see him succeed, he was legit incredible 2 years ago with detroit, but at his salary i just think it’s too risky of a gamble for a team like denver to be like, we’re acquiring blake griffin and now we have improved ourselves as a finals contender. i wouldn’t be able to sleep at night

in a way what makes chris paul a good fit in phoenix is that you’re only expecting him to give you one, maybe two, playoff series. if a team like the bucks traded for him expecting him to be helping them in game 6 of the nba finals i would be terrified for them

i simply can’t understand why a single team in the NBA would wanna take on that wall contract. you have to pay him $46 million three seasons from now. it feels like the most toxic contract in the history of the league to me

yeah maybe if at some point he proves he can still play at a high level its moveable but right now i dont see it unless wash is willing to sweeten the pot a ton
