Shouldn’t John Wall just retire

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 04:28 (five years ago)

He’s only 30 :(

Spottie, Saturday, 21 November 2020 04:33 (five years ago)

I don’t entirely agree with this idea that Blake is washed! He’s vastly overpaid but was a very good player in 18-19

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 04:34 (five years ago)

Yah I believe in old Blake more than most. The knee thing tho is troubling

Spottie, Saturday, 21 November 2020 04:47 (five years ago)

connolly needs to just go into hiding and not make any drastic moves, wait it out till the trade deadline when there are more sellers

k3vin k., Saturday, 21 November 2020 05:03 (five years ago)

the problem with blake is just that any contending team acquiring him would be doing so to have an impact player in the playoffs. and i just don’t think you can have any confidence that he’s going to be able to make it through 3-4 playoff rounds. i would love to see him succeed, he was legit incredible 2 years ago with detroit, but at his salary i just think it’s too risky of a gamble for a team like denver to be like, we’re acquiring blake griffin and now we have improved ourselves as a finals contender. i wouldn’t be able to sleep at night

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 05:06 (five years ago)

in a way what makes chris paul a good fit in phoenix is that you’re only expecting him to give you one, maybe two, playoff series. if a team like the bucks traded for him expecting him to be helping them in game 6 of the nba finals i would be terrified for them

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 05:07 (five years ago)

just going to let that chris paul slander slide for the moment

k3vin k., Saturday, 21 November 2020 05:22 (five years ago)

Oklahoma City is in serious talks to move center Steven Adams to New Orleans, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

even crazier:

Deal has a lot of moving parts and still has work to finish, per sources. https://t.co/88DcVcR1TV

Fetchboy, Saturday, 21 November 2020 06:13 (five years ago)

i've never felt more like a basketball nostradamus than today when Westbrook, wall, and blake all getting moved on the same day and then none of it actually happened, what a gift I have, this Almost-Kind-of-Sight

Clay, Saturday, 21 November 2020 06:16 (five years ago)

so this is the bucks’ pivot after the bogdan debacle?

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 06:18 (five years ago)

Jamychel green 2/15 to nuggs good get

Spottie, Saturday, 21 November 2020 07:24 (five years ago)

he is good

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 07:52 (five years ago)

I know y’all love gallenari but is he really worth 20 a year?

Heez, Saturday, 21 November 2020 13:10 (five years ago)

Thunder just tanking now :( I understand it but will miss the vibes.

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 13:35 (five years ago)

theyre gonna roll out starting lineup of... a bunch of future first round draft picks!

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 13:45 (five years ago)

lol not a reliable source but lollll

Rockets, Wizards, Pistons three team trade being discussed. Wall to Detroit, Blake to Hou, Russ to Was will keep everyone updated.

discourse stu (m bison), Saturday, 21 November 2020 14:53 (five years ago)

i simply can’t understand why a single team in the NBA would wanna take on that wall contract. you have to pay him $46 million three seasons from now. it feels like the most toxic contract in the history of the league to me

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:00 (five years ago)

yeah maybe if at some point he proves he can still play at a high level its moveable but right now i dont see it unless wash is willing to sweeten the pot a ton

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:03 (five years ago)

Free agent guard Kris Dunn has agreed to a two-year, $10M deal with the Atlanta Hawks, sources tell ESPN. Player option on the second year.

— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) November 21, 2020

good deal

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:22 (five years ago)

is atlanta...good now?

discourse stu (m bison), Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:23 (five years ago)

maybe not bad

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:25 (five years ago)

they might get the 8 seed by default but they won 20 games last year. gallo prob adds like 5-6 wins in a good year, you assume some improvement by the young players, but they’re still gonna be terrible. still might be worse than the magic

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:32 (five years ago)

i think i’m in the “i’ll believe trae young is a winning NBA player when i see it” camp

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:33 (five years ago)

Good pick ups for the defending champs

(•̪●) (carne asada), Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:37 (five years ago)

fair xp

discourse stu (m bison), Saturday, 21 November 2020 16:38 (five years ago)

dunn for $5m seems like a real bargain compared to most of these other deals

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:02 (five years ago)

I don’t know if it’s a bit or a requirement but a really funny thing is how Shams and Woj put all these odd facts from agents in their free agent signing tweets. Like Danilo Gallinari being the highest paid European player in his 30s who has not made an allstar team.

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:09 (five years ago)

Also seeing some reports of Bol Bol working hard in the gym and don’t know if it’s a bit

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:13 (five years ago)

the bogdanovic and gallinari signings should improve the hawks defense to maybe league second worst

micah, Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:15 (five years ago)

yes the davis bertans tweet noted it was one of the richest contracts ever negotiated by a european based agent. thanks!

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:16 (five years ago)

most of it would be be backscratching the agents in return for the scoop

micah, Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:20 (five years ago)

yeah u dont get sources for nothing lol

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 17:30 (five years ago)

Free agent Gordon Hayward is signing a 4-year, $120M deal with Charlotte, per source.

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:31 (five years ago)

lol wow insane plot twists this offseason

ciderpress, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:32 (five years ago)

lololol MJ from downtown

discourse stu (m bison), Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:34 (five years ago)

How did the Charlotte Hornets crush the off-season

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:36 (five years ago)

rip gordo

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:36 (five years ago)

(Very carefully)

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:37 (five years ago)

lol

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:37 (five years ago)

some big contracts being handed out

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:37 (five years ago)

Honestly think the Hornets could be a fun team here... first time I’ve ever felt like there’s an actual plan

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:39 (five years ago)

bet this will end up a sign n trade

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:39 (five years ago)

Lamelo + a zillion guys who play defense, including Hayward. It makes sense

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:40 (five years ago)

For Charlotte to add Gordon Hayward they have to:

-Work a S&T with Boston

-Trade away $7.5M in salary elsewhere

-Waive and stretch Nic Batum at about $9M a year for the next three years

— Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) November 21, 2020

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:42 (five years ago)

Wait they have to do all three of those things?

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:44 (five years ago)

seems like thats what its saying

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:45 (five years ago)

all the sites only have them at $80m tho and the cap is 100 so it must be sign and trade OR the other two options combined

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:47 (five years ago)

conceptually that makes sense too if you do a sign n trade then youre cool by its nature

lag∞n, Saturday, 21 November 2020 18:47 (five years ago)
