I think I like Haliburton out of Iowa State for the Hawks. Honestly I haven't dug into this years draft that much, but he sounds like the perfect guy to back up Trae. Plus the nickname Dick Cheney Haliburton rolls right off the tongue.

i've always thought the wolves would eventually settle on edwards. lamelo and wiseman just don't make sense given their roster

edwards shot 40% last year, not great for someone with elite athleticism, granted he was a freshman taking a ton of shots for a team without much talent, but still youd like to see someone whos primary merit is physical dominance be physically dominant, especially in college where he had a bigger advantage

Anthony Edwards reminds me of JR Rider. The eyeball test is there, he has the talent that could fit exactly in a scorer role but he’s pretty much a walking red flag.

max kellerman making a good case for halliburton at no. 1, basically that you go broke trying to imagine that there's a true number one superstar in a draft where there isn't one, so go for a more sure thing player with a lower ceiling and higher floor

eh, i dislike that line of thinking. there's going to be at least one really good player in the draft. the wolves don't have all this existing talent where they can start picking high-end glue guys.
