that was a fun quiz! I only got 6/10
― k3vin k., Monday, 7 September 2020 11:53 (five years ago)
I got 1/1. I had to re-run the first clip six or seven times, play it through once in stop-motion, squint to read the jersey numbers because I don't know most of the Celtics. Took two minutes--too much work.
― clemenza, Monday, 7 September 2020 13:29 (five years ago)
i blamed kanter on the first one cause i figured it was a safe bet
― lag∞n, Monday, 7 September 2020 13:50 (five years ago)

i did the quiz and got 7/10, expected like 5/10 at best; def had to pause and rewind every clip a couple times bc my brain is bad and worse every day and the game moves genuinely moves too fast for me on the defensive end
― Clay, Monday, 7 September 2020 22:56 (five years ago)
raps need another scorer badly
― micah, Monday, 7 September 2020 23:16 (five years ago)
this is more how i expected this series to go at the start, celtics have all the best guys to break defensive stalemate games
― ciderpress, Monday, 7 September 2020 23:21 (five years ago)
Celtics defense is incredible
― Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 7 September 2020 23:26 (five years ago)
ok now this is a little better than i expected it to go
― ciderpress, Monday, 7 September 2020 23:38 (five years ago)

i definitely had to watch each clip multiple times, first just to square up what players were where even when i know all the guys on the floor, then to watch the on-ball action, then to watch the off-ball actions as many times as i needed to.
if it's this hard to analyze nba defense, it gives a great appreciation for how hard it must be to design, coach, and execute!

5/10 i suxor
― Nhex, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 00:27 (five years ago)
really like kemba taking it to them tonight, its still better to run the offense through him than tatum against a really good defensive team like the raps he breaks the d down more
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 01:14 (five years ago)
The Raptors have lost by 15 or more points seven times this year. Four of those losses have come to the Celtics.— (((Eric Koreen))) (@ekoreen) September 8, 2020

Millsap STINKS
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 01:53 (five years ago)
If he gets the ball on offense, a bad thing is probably happening and him getting back on defense is definitely not happening
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 01:54 (five years ago)
he looks like the kind of vet who shouldn’t be playing in the playoffs anymore
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2020 02:21 (five years ago)
He was still good before the bubble but WOOF
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 02:27 (five years ago)
Literally the entirety of Michael Porter jr’s basketball IQ is rebounding
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:10 (five years ago)
What the hell happened to montrezl in the bubble?
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:24 (five years ago)
as is often the case i don't know exactly what you mean but it's pretty clear that he's been playing himself into shape
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:28 (five years ago)
lol we are having absurd weather stuff here in the northwest (fire, smoke, extreme winds) and the power for my building went down just as this one was coming to the crux :/ :/
― Clay, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:35 (five years ago)
Jamal just didn’t have it tonight
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:36 (five years ago)
murray and jokic were scared to jump shoot at the end of the game
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:37 (five years ago)
porter jr is a pretty legit rebounder
Murray 5/17 just isn’t gonna cut it
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:39 (five years ago)
I understand why he won’t do it because it is insanely frustrating on almost every level, but Malone just needs to bench Millsap and play porter
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:42 (five years ago)
a vet like millsap would understand, you'd think
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:44 (five years ago)
pretty much everyone on the clippers is like 28 or older and very physically mature i get why malone would temper porter mins with millsap. nuggs could use an olynyk type player at the back up big position who can fake it at center but not clog up their spacing on offense. millsap and plumlee aren’t bringing anything in this series except muscles
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:47 (five years ago)
Lol no Plumlee has been great
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:47 (five years ago)
In fact it might be worth trying twin towers lineups a little, Millsap has been that bad
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:48 (five years ago)
plumlee has totaled 8 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 10 fouls in 34 minutes. nice per 36 stats if the NBA doubles the individual foul limit.
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:52 (five years ago)
it's the notes he's NOT playing
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:53 (five years ago)
Jord 8,9 and 7 in 34 minutes is indeed good
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:54 (five years ago)
Especially when you’re playing good defense, which he has been doing. Since he’s a good defender. Something you can see in this series if you watch it
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 03:55 (five years ago)
If you watched the game tonight and didn’t see that plumlee had a nice game idk what to say
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 04:00 (five years ago)
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2020 04:18 (five years ago)
he’s a decent player i’m not trying to trash him but if you’re a big in the NBA who can’t shoot you need to be high impact everywhere else to really be useful in major playoff series. the nuggets could really use jamychal greene honestly.
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 8 September 2020 04:22 (five years ago)
Sometimes committing a foul is the right play
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 04:22 (five years ago)
only if it's called on a swipe block matt
― Lavator Shemmelpennick, Tuesday, 8 September 2020 05:05 (five years ago)
haven't the plumlees caused enough division and hate in this world????
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 8 September 2020 05:44 (five years ago)
Murray just needed to play ok and they win that game. He’s overthinking his moves which is understandable since he has either pat Bev kawhi or pg guarding him all of which guard him completely differently and effectively. Millsap has a nice game 2 but Malone needs to be ready to pull the plug quick if it’s evident he’s off for the night. Hardest thing to do as a coach is yank the ol trusty vet who’s cooked but could still have it every few games.
