That Middleton missed 3 to put Milwaukee up 3-0 in Toronto is gonna haunt me the rest of my life I guess

frogbs, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:14 (five years ago)

has someone considered writing "playoff adjustments" on a piece of paper and slipping it to coach bud

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:18 (five years ago)

In retrospect Middleton probably shouldn’t have gone 2 months without touching a basketball

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:19 (five years ago)

i feel like he tried something different and should be appreciated for it

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:20 (five years ago)

may i make an observation jae crowder got better at shooting

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:25 (five years ago)

lol what the fuck happened in that fourth quarter

ciderpress, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:26 (five years ago)

ah well nevertheless

Mike Budenholzer just said the Bucks had won six quarters in a row entering the fourth quarter tonight. That may be so, but they lost the other two quarters in Games 2 and 3 by a combined 36 points.

winning quarters is second only to winning games!

the unappreciated charisma of cows (Aimless), Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:31 (five years ago)

gotta love it baby

Budenholzer says Giannis/Middleton playign 35-36 minutes is “pushing the ceiling”…wow

If Iguodala goes 2 for 2 on threes you win. Rulez.

that's not my post, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:40 (five years ago)

hot take: pop’s former assistants are his failsons (bud, brett brown, mike brown, jacque vaughn, boylen)

methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:42 (five years ago)

it's uncanny how similar it is to all the belichick assistants that have flamed out

call all destroyer, Saturday, 5 September 2020 01:45 (five years ago)

i knew harden would have a good playoff game eventually if we gave him enough tries

ciderpress, Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:26 (five years ago)

Worst 4th Quarter Points Differentials In Playoff History:

2020 Bucks vs. Heat ...... -27
1986 Spurs vs. Lakers ... -26
2015 Clips vs. Rockets ... -25
2003 Mavs vs. Spurs ..... -25
2002 Nets vs. Celtics ... -25

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:38 (five years ago)

Wow lebron!

(•̪●) (carne asada), Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:40 (five years ago)

that was fucking crazy

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:40 (five years ago)

lebron james

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:41 (five years ago)

the extra craziest thing about the bucks stuff is that the heat have been playing giannis this way for like 3 years and have frequently frustrated him. it's just a huge contrast watching the heat squeeze offense out of creativity and scouting while the bucks are playing as if they have never heard of the concept of preparation.

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:43 (five years ago)

couple years back casey got fired from toronto like a week after winning coach of the year xp

This also happened to George Karl with the Nuggets in 2013. They won 57 games but were just 3rd in the west.

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Saturday, 5 September 2020 02:47 (five years ago)

between the heat, celtics, and raptors the remaining east teams are probably some of the best coaching/preparation teams ever given that coaching/preparation has gotten better over time.

i get why harden drives everyone nuts but that subtle hesitation on the break is something that no one else even thinks to do

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:16 (five years ago)

Might be Kuzma's worst game in the bubble: -21 in 21 minutes, four fouls, has had a tough time containing the Rockets guards in space, done little offensively.

“frank vogel looking for some scoring...” as waiters clangs a mid range jumper off the rim with 4:30 left in a playoff game... not the greatest omen for the lakers

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:30 (five years ago)

houston winning this series would be genuinely funny i support it

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:34 (five years ago)

a friend said that to me too but i think ultimately i want to see the lebron vs kawhi showdown

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:41 (five years ago)

james harden loves him some game 1s, we'll see where this goes.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:43 (five years ago)

yeah that's where i circle back to w/ this series. if lebron is playing in a game 6 or game 7 he's putting up 35-15-15. if harden is playing in one he's shooting 2-13 from the field w/ 11 points

J0rdan S., Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:44 (five years ago)

Lakers never looked into it

(•̪●) (carne asada), Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:48 (five years ago)

Everything starts with their defense and rebounding

(•̪●) (carne asada), Saturday, 5 September 2020 03:49 (five years ago)

lakers played at 75% speed the whole game

Spottie, Saturday, 5 September 2020 05:04 (five years ago)

dont think ive cheered for a rockets team since... 95?

Spottie, Saturday, 5 September 2020 05:04 (five years ago)

yeah i'm having a tough time with this one, heart would prefer both teams implode

Clay, Saturday, 5 September 2020 05:06 (five years ago)

rockets have the weird ability to make any game bad

lag∞n, Saturday, 5 September 2020 13:50 (five years ago)

Lakers have looked so bad all bubble, I think the rockets take this. Think the thunder had a shot too

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 5 September 2020 13:52 (five years ago)

xp its so impressive, really feel like they deserve the chip for it

ciderpress, Saturday, 5 September 2020 14:17 (five years ago)

The Bucks have made many, many, many questionable decisions in this series, but I *really* don't get why they aren't ducking under every Jimmy Butler PnR.

Butler shot 30.5 percent (!!!) on jumpers out of PnR during the regular season via Synergy.

(•̪●) (carne asada), Saturday, 5 September 2020 22:22 (five years ago)

not gonna get it done!

Boston shot 7/35 (20%) tonight. This was the 7th time in NBA history a playoff team shot 20% or less on 35+ attempts. They've all come in the past 4 years and Boston now has 3 of them.
