feel like if the rockets beat the lakers the nba would have to close just on principle

the interesting thing about okc-lakers would be the fact that the lakers would have no shot of guarding chris paul and don’t have anyone great for schroeder either. it just seems like they’re hanging on by a thread tho being dragged by those two and it’s hard to see them winning more than a game off the lakers.

the math in a rockets-lakers series would be interesting. in games where green and/or kuzma couldn’t hit threes the lakers would be running uphill a bit. rockets would
ultimately need an effective westbrook tho to take advantage of the lakers guards and that person may have disappeared from the bubble

lakers play good team d with brow there to clean up mistakes i mean if they can contain lillard i think they should be fine w other lil guys i think it would take something pretty flukey for either of these teams to give them a run

lakers rox cld be an interesting test of how good davis is actually he should be able to destroy them via playing big and physical but if hes passive they cld harass him into bad games

i can't decide if the clippers having no fans would make it better or worse if they won

when the season started it felt the Clippers weren't clearly a team to root for or one to root against - some players and factors naturally pulling them to each side. But their midseason pickups tilted the scales towards making them a lot less fun to root for, alongside the lingering karma (and same coach) from the last few years of the CP3 era.

ultimately i think i like lebron too much to be truly hurt if he wins. i think i could even accept the temporary return of lakers superiority... that's not as bad to me as winning a title for dan gilbert. the lakers can't hurt me.

I would be in favor of kawhi visiting a new team every year he is in the league from now on and for that team to win a championship
