rly tho the bucks most important guys have to be better
1. giannis has to make free throws. he can't win games by jump shooting so he will have to get to the rim in the half court which means he'll be shooting free throws.
2. middleton has to be an elite shooter all game... he was hitting tons of shots in rhythm in the first half but is going to have to make contested jump shots and off the dribble threes in crunch time
3. bud has to come up w/ ways to get both guys some shots they like, even just creative ways to get giannis in the post touches. didn't feel like much was going on w/ their offense in the second half
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 01:53 (five years ago)
the bucks look so passive in games like this...they look like they're confused by what the other team is doing. it isn't news that you can't just let jimmy butler get to any spot he wants in the midrange.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 02:03 (five years ago)
then you get giannis dribbling into the paint with the ball an arm's length away from his body. shocking, but a savvy defender will steal that.

iāve thought about it some and itās hard to disagree

i think we all know earv always has his finger on the pulse of the league
― Clay, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:10 (five years ago)
quite the twist in the chris paul, james harden, houston rockets saga tonight!
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:49 (five years ago)
russ out there making grade a end of game decisions as always
― Clay, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:50 (five years ago)
this series has been so bad i hate it both teams play like theyre completely exhausted at all times game seven baby
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:51 (five years ago)
another fabled "Series Finale"
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:52 (five years ago)
the basketball hasnāt been great. the rockets have one good player... the thunder have 2.5? thereās so much narrative drama tho that i still love it
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:54 (five years ago)
cp at the end of the last few games has been fun to watch tho. he undressed covington tonight
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:55 (five years ago)
yeah he won that game single handedly no one else could do anything
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:58 (five years ago)
kinda wild how invisible gallo is in these games. itās really just cp and schroeder. SGA has been downright awful.
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 04:01 (five years ago)
Gallo has sucked this series but he had 25 pts in 28min on 52/44 shooting tonight
― Fetchboy, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 04:15 (five years ago)
oh my fuckin god lol

Russ had at least 4 passes this game that were as bad or worse than that. Harden relying on step back 3s to end tight games when heās tired vs cp working that mid range was poetic.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 06:35 (five years ago)
Gallo had a really great 3rd q and kept okc in the mix single handedly for a spell.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 06:38 (five years ago)
On one hand I want the thunder to knock out the rockets for max drama but on the other hand I am way more interested in viewing a lakers vs rox series.

12 TOs for hardbrook

Not so sure about that
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:15 (five years ago)
Theyāve been putting the clamps on gallo the whole series but he found a way to have two good games
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:22 (five years ago)
gallo had a couple weird bad plays down the stretch last night first got covington up in the air and then just forgot to draw the contact but still took a shot like he drew contact which missed badly then got the ball at the 3pt line w a second left on the shot clock and took a shot like there was .25 seconds left on the shot clock and missed badly
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:52 (five years ago)
feel like if the rockets beat the lakers the nba would have to close just on principle
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:54 (five years ago)
the interesting thing about okc-lakers would be the fact that the lakers would have no shot of guarding chris paul and donāt have anyone great for schroeder either. it just seems like theyāre hanging on by a thread tho being dragged by those two and itās hard to see them winning more than a game off the lakers.
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:44 (five years ago)
the math in a rockets-lakers series would be interesting. in games where green and/or kuzma couldnāt hit threes the lakers would be running uphill a bit. rockets wouldultimately need an effective westbrook tho to take advantage of the lakers guards and that person may have disappeared from the bubble
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:48 (five years ago)
lakers play good team d with brow there to clean up mistakes i mean if they can contain lillard i think they should be fine w other lil guys i think it would take something pretty flukey for either of these teams to give them a run
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:52 (five years ago)
lakers-clips could be pretty epic if it comes to that
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:53 (five years ago)
pretty sure thats where this is going to end up but the lakers and rockets provides the most intrigue in the semis. we have never seen harden vs lebron in the playoffs and both teams philosophies are just so at odds. lakers are massive.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 17:26 (five years ago)
lakers rox cld be an interesting test of how good davis is actually he should be able to destroy them via playing big and physical but if hes passive they cld harass him into bad games
― lagān, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 17:47 (five years ago)
I just donāt want the clippers to win after the crap Morris pulled
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:01 (five years ago)
honestly got no one left I want to see win title

i want anyone out of the east. just no lakers or clippers.
― Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:23 (five years ago)
yeah LA cheating by having two teams to double their chances of winning must not be rewarded
― ciderpress, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:32 (five years ago)
i can't decide if the clippers having no fans would make it better or worse if they won
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:44 (five years ago)
when the season started it felt the Clippers weren't clearly a team to root for or one to root against - some players and factors naturally pulling them to each side. But their midseason pickups tilted the scales towards making them a lot less fun to root for, alongside the lingering karma (and same coach) from the last few years of the CP3 era.
― Lavator Shemmelpennick, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:50 (five years ago)
ultimately i think i like lebron too much to be truly hurt if he wins. i think i could even accept the temporary return of lakers superiority... that's not as bad to me as winning a title for dan gilbert. the lakers can't hurt me.
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:51 (five years ago)
I would be in favor of kawhi visiting a new team every year he is in the league from now on and for that team to win a championship
― Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 19:22 (five years ago)
starting w the spurs
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 19:26 (five years ago)
uh no repeats, Spurs already go their Kawhiship
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 19:46 (five years ago)
-got
its weird cos the clippers have no fans and kawhi and pg dont really have fans either. just a weird team. id just like to see someone new win it
― Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 20:29 (five years ago)
maybe it's the perfect year for a team with no fans to win since nobody can gather anywhere to celebrate anyway
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 20:35 (five years ago)
basically, every player is gonna have to step up
I'm so excited for Denver vs. Utah Game 7 & to see Jamal Murray vs. Donovan Mitchell! For Denver to win, Nikola JokiÄ, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap, or Michael Porter Jr. has to step up! For Utah to win, it's on Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, or Rudy Gobert to step up.— Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson) September 1, 2020
