More basketball!!

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 18:10 (five years ago)

ooh Celts v Bucks soon

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 July 2020 18:42 (five years ago)

yah, that's gonna be necessary

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Friday, 31 July 2020 18:46 (five years ago)

as we were saying

Who's the best shooter in the bubble? Based on just this year, it's Khris Middleton. Yes, Khris Middleton

At least that was true before COVID-19. Will it still be true now?

Why the Bucks' favorite status and the entire title race hinges on that questionhttps://t.co/L9TC1pz5Et

J0rdan S., Friday, 31 July 2020 19:30 (five years ago)

Not sure we needed the Nets in the bubble

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:21 (five years ago)

if you were gonna have zion you needed to get the nets

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Friday, 31 July 2020 20:24 (five years ago)

And Zion showed up out of shape. Not a great situation

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:25 (five years ago)

and NO is not really playing him!

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Friday, 31 July 2020 20:28 (five years ago)

Nurkic looks great, whiteside looks like Whiteside

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:28 (five years ago)

it wasn't about zion it was about money... they needed regular season games to generate tv revenue and salary for the players. thus you needed more than just the playoff teams there, thus the nets, and here we are. in 6 weeks nobody will remember anything about the nets time in the bubble

J0rdan S., Friday, 31 July 2020 20:29 (five years ago)

well the nets were one of the 8 teams but you know what i mean

J0rdan S., Friday, 31 July 2020 20:29 (five years ago)

all the above really

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Friday, 31 July 2020 20:30 (five years ago)

Why couldn’t you have all the playoff teams play regular season game vs each other

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:30 (five years ago)

Tbf the wizards are the more questionable team rn

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:31 (five years ago)

doing it this way generates more product and concocting some elaborate 8/9 play in game scheme make it less transparent that they're shipping the kings, suns, wizards etc off to orlando just to wring cash out of regional sports networks. also zion

J0rdan S., Friday, 31 July 2020 20:33 (five years ago)

they've also created the illusion of the restarted season having meaning... if you had the playoff teams playing vs each other simply for seeding purposes nobody would care because there's not even home court

J0rdan S., Friday, 31 July 2020 20:37 (five years ago)

they shdve just brought all the teams and finished the regular season, instead they brought 3/4 of the teams?

lag∞n, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:51 (five years ago)

It’s a half measure for sure

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:53 (five years ago)

otm

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:53 (five years ago)

i think this weird short end to the season is good. let the players play through the rust for a couple weeks.

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:54 (five years ago)

Officiating has been so bad in the bubble... I had hoped it would be better with no crowds

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 20:55 (five years ago)

i recognize approx half of the people in the blazer's virtual fan pool, this is my shame

Clay, Friday, 31 July 2020 21:02 (five years ago)

love that

J0rdan S., Friday, 31 July 2020 21:11 (five years ago)

Jonathan Isaac refused to kneel...

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 21:24 (five years ago)

nurk looks absolutely incredible

Clay, Friday, 31 July 2020 21:31 (five years ago)

Sorry this is bullshit

Griffin: (Zion) will not play significant minutes in the next game, and he may not in the next one."

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 21:34 (five years ago)

Nurkic sometimes tosses off a ferociously great game. Then he reverts to the mean, which is only to be expected.

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 July 2020 22:24 (five years ago)

Lillard takes some awful shots. Paul George would agree with me.

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 July 2020 22:25 (five years ago)

At least there's no air horns xp w myself

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 July 2020 22:25 (five years ago)

This turned into a hell of a game

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 22:43 (five years ago)

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 July 2020 22:44 (five years ago)

all those techs were funny. players gonna have to bit their tongue a bit cant hide behind crowd noise and distractions in the bubble

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 22:44 (five years ago)

uhhhh the blazers gonna choke this?

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 22:59 (five years ago)

Education Reform (Clay), Friday, 31 July 2020 23:02 (five years ago)

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 23:05 (five years ago)

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 23:05 (five years ago)

dame's finish on that drive w/ about 40 secs to go was sublime

Education Reform (Clay), Friday, 31 July 2020 23:05 (five years ago)

Why is this court brighter!?!?

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 23:10 (five years ago)

More stars!

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 July 2020 23:12 (five years ago)

digging the bubble games, they remind me of the preseason college ball tourneys they play in puerto rico or the bahamas, and the courts are used as convention centers and ballrooms for the other 50 weeks of the year

mozzy star (voodoo chili), Friday, 31 July 2020 23:15 (five years ago)

The fake crowd noise is so weird, I don’t know if I can get used to this

frogbs, Friday, 31 July 2020 23:23 (five years ago)

i may be starting to believe in Ayton.

Spottie, Friday, 31 July 2020 23:27 (five years ago)

Did you guys see that 4 players this season have scored on giannis in isolation

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 July 2020 23:34 (five years ago)

Ayton always had good potential in terms of his physical attributes. He just never had to work all that hard at hoops before he came into the league, where everyone on every team is a world-class athlete and even the superstars work their freaking butts off in order to make their way to the top of the heap.

the unappreciated charisma of cows (Aimless), Friday, 31 July 2020 23:36 (five years ago)

tatum has been soo bad so far in da bubble like not just missing layups missing the rim, keep thinking about how early in the shutdown it was revealed he didnt have a hoop at his house, hope he found a way to get some shots up!
