here's a dumbass arbitrary list espn is rolling out we can argue about if you guys want
― Clay, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:17 (six years ago)
i mad abt it but not mad enough to write a lot of sentences. chris paul is at #40 and he's too low bc a bunch of wack PGs are ahead of him
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:22 (six years ago)
getting on the list = good stats and a relatable storyposition on the list = who has the better story
― A is for (Aimless), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:24 (six years ago)
giannis high as he is is getting silly
― Clay, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:27 (six years ago)
i don't even really like chris paul and that ranking is insane
― call all destroyer, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:33 (six years ago)
vince over ray allen huh
― fatuous salad (symsymsym), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:35 (six years ago)
never opening this list again since it's terrible
― call all destroyer, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:36 (six years ago)
mcgrady over both of 'em xp
― Clay, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:36 (six years ago)
yeah wtf
― fatuous salad (symsymsym), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:36 (six years ago)
i refuse to be tempted by this content
― circles, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:38 (six years ago)
i saw enough to see that some of the blurbs are written by the espn beat guys who, tbc, are great as beat writers but are way out of their league doing all time lists
― call all destroyer, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 03:41 (six years ago)
I hate these lists so much. They really need to split them into like pre 1970 or pre 3 pointer or pre nba/aba merger... somewhere in the 70s. The game is just so different. Then they just do stuff like put giannis and brow way up here based on what they could potentially do. Just hate it all I’m sick of player rankings
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 05:06 (six years ago)
Ya it's just click bait
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 05:38 (six years ago)
The list is totally fine except for kobe being top 10
― Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 15:55 (six years ago)
wow he's the entire top 10, these Laker fans need to be stopped
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 17:01 (six years ago)
wow nba is switching from spalding to wilson startgin 2020-2021. thats pretty crazy news i think. nearly 40 years of being the nab ball..

― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 19:46 (six years ago)
i dislike that
― call all destroyer, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 19:47 (six years ago)
same... seems weird. someone messed up
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 19:54 (six years ago)
My guess is Spalding wasn't seeing much revenue generated as a result of being official game ball. I almost never see Spaldings in the wild; Wilson's are the go-to for all rec league, HS, pickup games.
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 20:15 (six years ago)
of course, that's their own fault
yah i see them a ton for outdoor use but theyve messed up a ton i think. they priced the nba genuine game ball way out of reach of normal people at like $170. then they got rid of their 2nd best ball and the best bang for your buck ball the TF-1000. then they tried to course correct and brought it back with a legacy edition then tried to come back with the classic edition but it was just never the same. ive still got an unopened original TF-1000 in my closet.
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 20:27 (six years ago)
i hate wilson composite balls so much. all of them.
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 20:28 (six years ago)
they say the wilson nba ball is going to be same specs and leather as the spalding so i doubt it will be much different. hopefully cheaper!
they gotta switch off every 37 years it's the rule
― ciderpress, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 20:47 (six years ago)
ya Spottie you're exactly right, that's what I meant by it's their own fault.
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Wednesday, 13 May 2020 21:29 (six years ago)
I splurged and got a game ball few years ago. Fucking thing went flat after being used like 1/2 dozen times.
Oh that’s not good you shoulda been able to get a replacement
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 21:55 (six years ago)
i have a wilson composite ball now and i kinda like it its plush
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 22:04 (six years ago)

to me they have the opposite effect of what you want. they feel great when you grab it at first or dribble around or shoot a bit.. but as soon as you get sweaty they (depending on the ball) get harder and more slippery. the leather ball is the opposite, feels like a brick when you grab it at first but one game in there's nothing better. and you can use the glass with way more control cos it doesnt grip the glass it's more of a natural bounce off of it.
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 22:24 (six years ago)
obv this is all personal pref but i always wanted to play with the ball the pros played with and it always just felt right to me
― Spottie, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 22:26 (six years ago)
haberstroh gets it

game leather ball obvs the best xp cant use dem outdoors tho and as we covered they cost way too much
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 13 May 2020 23:59 (six years ago)
it funny a lot of people dont like the leather ball i think mostly cause theyre not used to them because they never use them because they cost too much
― lag∞n, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:00 (six years ago)
its true the tf 1000 is nice they age really well
― lag∞n, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:01 (six years ago)
nice nice lol
Former PHX HC Earl Watson recently said Jayson Tatum had the best pre-draft workout he’d ever seen for the Suns in 2017. Despite that, Owner Robert Sarver wasn’t interested.Watson claims Sarver preferred Josh Jackson and even said to him “We don’t need another Devin Booker.” 😳 pic.twitter.com/j1MKudCRJD— Hilltop Hoops (@HilltopNBA) May 13, 2020

― lag∞n, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:13 (six years ago)
Just a thought but having two Devin bookers is actually good
― Spottie, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:16 (six years ago)
also they dont even play the same position! maybe its two different size devin bookers which yeah wld be good
― lag∞n, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:17 (six years ago)
Better than 1 Devin Booker + 1 g leaguer I think
― Spottie, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:40 (six years ago)
im no nba owner but id have to agree with that
― lag∞n, Thursday, 14 May 2020 00:41 (six years ago)
is devin booker good tho
― k3vin k., Thursday, 14 May 2020 13:30 (six years ago)
probably not
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Thursday, 14 May 2020 14:08 (six years ago)
It’s always hard to judge guys who are as bad at defense as Booker is. Did he get a little better this year?
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 14 May 2020 14:14 (six years ago)
defensively? not rly. tho his offense might be elite enough to make up for it.
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Thursday, 14 May 2020 14:16 (six years ago)
i mean i shd say his defensive stats have improved but they're still negative
Yeah in 18-19 he was literally bottom five in defense which is hard to fade
― Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 14 May 2020 15:35 (six years ago)
