i haven't loved this front office's moves and them trading for and then extending drummond would've been a job killing disaster, but i can't find much fault in this move

i also sort of feel like d'antoni and morey know they're not long for that franchise and are willing to push the pedal to the metal on small ball and threes

man this is so huge for the hawks i think. they are basically the worst rebounding team in the league this fit just makes so much sense. trae capella connection should be really solid really fast

feel like capela and collins are too similar in body type/defensive skillset to make sense longterm but just accepting capela for a mid first round pick bcuz the rockets are spazzing out is def the kind of thing they should be doing

collins is a bad defender i thought.

oh man i love this for the hawks. schlenk has been sitting on picks year after year finally coaxed someone in to giving him good value for what would have been at best a late lotto pick in a weak draft year. i know very little about Capela other than that he's efficient, a good defender and not terrible on offense. he should fit nicely next to Collins

Nuggets definitely want to make another deal but what the hell would it be? Pelicans seem happy to keep Jrue.

The Rockets ranked 7th in plays finished using pick-and-roll in 2016-17, per @SynergySST. It's been a steady decline since then:
