Huerter is kinda good at everything from what I’ve seen

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:09 (six years ago)

not sure hunter fits the rockets timeline either. im sure they are looking for vets no?

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Monday, 3 February 2020 18:10 (six years ago)

lag∞n, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:20 (six years ago)

tho he is an old soul

lag∞n, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:20 (six years ago)

I like how the Rox are just basically admitting they're never gonna get far enough to have to worry about guarding AD or Embiid.

Evans on Hammond (evol j), Monday, 3 February 2020 18:20 (six years ago)

pj tucker will simply guard ad and bron

lag∞n, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:22 (six years ago)

he basically guards all 5 players already

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Monday, 3 February 2020 18:25 (six years ago)

Apparently this is largely driven by wanting to get out from capela’s salary because their owner is broke

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:38 (six years ago)

jfc

lag∞n, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:38 (six years ago)

I’ve always wanted capela on the nuggets but they probably can’t make that work.

Matt Armstrong, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:39 (six years ago)

Whoa really? He seems so integral to what they do. Maybe like... try to get off russ’s Salary first just a thought

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Monday, 3 February 2020 18:47 (six years ago)

mb sell the team instead

lag∞n, Monday, 3 February 2020 18:52 (six years ago)

ESPN Sources: Another team engaged with the Houston Rockets in trade talks for center Clint Capela: The Boston Celtics.

— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) February 3, 2020

the way this is playing out thru incremental woj updates is very fishy

J0rdan S., Monday, 3 February 2020 20:27 (six years ago)

woj knows of prob 20 active trade convos at any given time why is this the one that is being reported out like he's the public's pool reporter

J0rdan S., Monday, 3 February 2020 20:29 (six years ago)

is morey one of wojs known conspirators

lag∞n, Monday, 3 February 2020 22:43 (six years ago)

morey will talk to anyone iirc

love to see mike scott come off the bench for philly, score 17 points (on 5-for-7 from three) in 13 minutes, and be a -16

mookieproof, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:35 (six years ago)

sixers getting punked in miami a game after getting punked in boston and play in milwaukee next

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:47 (six years ago)

yike

lag∞n, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:48 (six years ago)

raul neto legitimately looks like they put one of the equipment managers in the game

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:49 (six years ago)

i watched the 2018-19 celtics and so i think i have a great feel for teams that work on paper and not in practice, and this is a post about the 2019-20 sixers

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:50 (six years ago)

toronto won 11 in a row while i wasn't looking

ciderpress, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:51 (six years ago)

trade embiid

lag∞n, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:51 (six years ago)

the horford signing is currently looking like an extremely bad choice

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:53 (six years ago)

it made no sense everyone was saying

lag∞n, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:53 (six years ago)

lag∞n, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:56 (six years ago)

lag∞n, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 02:59 (six years ago)

Cavs lost to the Knicks tonight. At home. That has got to hurt.

A is for (Aimless), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 03:21 (six years ago)

that's got to be up there in the running for least compelling game in history that went to overtime

trade rumors heating up...

suns possibly sending a first for kennard

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 05:42 (six years ago)

why

majority whip, majority nae nae (m bison), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 05:43 (six years ago)

suns need depth and shooting. he's been really good this year BUT.... he's 23 and has sat like 20 games straight with tendinitis in BOTH knees...

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 05:44 (six years ago)

seems unwise

majority whip, majority nae nae (m bison), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 05:45 (six years ago)

kawhi locked up demar there damn

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 05:45 (six years ago)

ah patty gotta hit that

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 05:47 (six years ago)

yeah, thats his shot

Yeah it makes sense for both teams if his knees are ok. Mykhailiuk has emerged for the pistons and kind of duplicates what Kennard does.

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 14:33 (six years ago)

idk if cashing in your first round pick for luke kennard makes sense for the suns. like, if the pistons are dumping kennard bcuz they have svi — a mid second round pick — perhaps that should tell the suns something about how replaceable the skill set is. plus you have to pay kennard a bunch of money after next season, i’d rather just have the 10th pick or whatever and take a crack at finding another luke kennard (can it be that hard?) that i can have on a rookie deal for 4 years.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 14:49 (six years ago)

Suns vice president of basketball operations Jeff Bower was part of a Detroit front office that drafted Kennard with the No. 12 pick in the 2017 NBA draft. Phoenix is believed to imagine Kennard in a significant sixth-man role playing 30-plus minutes a game.

letting a guy from the front office that has wasted like 10 first round picks in a row come to your team and convince you to trade your first round pick for one of his busted draft picks. trust the process.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 14:53 (six years ago)

the two players picked immediately after kennard were donovan mitchell and bam lol

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 14:53 (six years ago)

i don't understand it at all. he wouldn't start for them, wouldn't help them on defense, and is going to get paid like $15M a year soon.

xp oh now i understand it, it's a lousy executive reacquiring a player he likes

agree but i think the suns are in the we need so start putting actual players around booker and cant just keep drafting every year and wait 3 seasons for each to develop. i think they are beginning to worry that booker is gonna pull a Brow at any given moment here. but as we know this is not a good way to run a team.

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:24 (six years ago)

yeah well that didn't work for new orleans so good luck phoenix

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:35 (six years ago)

we never really got to see if the boogie/brow pairing was going to work. i had doubts but I wanted to see them together in the playoffs cos it maaaaaybe could have.

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:46 (six years ago)

in the their attempt to show anthony davis they were a competitive franchise by putting "real" players around the pelicans also did stuff like trade a first round pick for omer asik and then give him a huge contract, give huge contracts to solomon hill and e'twuan moore. you can't run a franchise that way. you just have to make good decisions. trying to trick your players into believing you're competent isn't going to work.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:55 (six years ago)

the wizards are apparently looking to buy bcuz they're 5 games out of the 8 seed and want to show bradley beal that they're a serious franchise. it never ends.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:56 (six years ago)

otm

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:58 (six years ago)

don't think beal is a good enough player to do that for even if it was a good idea to do that for a star in the first place

ciderpress, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 15:59 (six years ago)

teams who suck for years and then decide they need to make the playoffs via getting luke kennard .......

lag∞n, Tuesday, 4 February 2020 16:00 (six years ago)

nba thinking: let's hire an ex-player just out of the league with no front office experience as our GM and then let him hire a guy from one of the worst front offices in basketball to trade our first round pick for an offense only sixth man with tendinitis in both knees, in order to demonstrate competence to our star player
