idk I haven’t gotten too deep into this with him but he’s just gotten back into the nba a couple of years ago and maybe he is mesmerized by a 6-10 guy playing point guard. I also found out that he is a tom steyer voter

hes also been taking it easy so far easing his way back in like he was a steals machine in college but he only has a couple so far be crazy to see once he gets up to speed

I watched part of the game on ABC. It was my first extended look at Zion since the NCAA tournament and I'll share several impressions. He's clearly overweight and has some rust to knock off. He has his rookie moments where he gets lost on the floor and has not fully adjusted to the constant speed and athleticism of the NBA game. I thought Tucker did a good job of defending him. Seems obvious that when he's fully up to speed, probably not until next season, he will be completely awesome. My final impression is that, christ, this young man has a pair of shoulders on him previously seen only on comic book characters.

I was watching a game with hubie on the mic this week and yeah he has no idea what stats are anymore and he basically just goes to games and says things he likes but for 86 years old he basically sounds like he did 30 years ago

tbh depending on if you think hunter is going to pan out as a defensive force keeping him might be better from a roaster construction standpoint youve got yr outside in 1-2 in trae and collins then a rugged switchable defensive big-wing makes a lot of sense
