symsymsym, Saturday, 1 February 2020 07:20 (six years ago)

myles turner will be halfway there by the end of this season

micah, Saturday, 1 February 2020 07:57 (six years ago)

embiid and jjj probably wont get enough blocks

micah, Saturday, 1 February 2020 08:40 (six years ago)

yeah, have to stay healthy and keep up a pretty good pace to get to 1500 blocks, though who knows how jjj’s career will turn out. brow will get there eventually as long as he keeps taking 3s

circles, Saturday, 1 February 2020 16:18 (six years ago)

Does kat get enough blocks? If he has a long career he could do it and will probably be more 1500/1500

Dennis Smith Jr. is on pace to become the first player in NBA history to attempt more than 200 FG’s in a season and shoot:
below 35% from the floor,
below 30% from 3-point territory and,
below 50% from the free-throw line

i know he's had some off court real life stuff this year, hope he can figure it out and get back to normal bad player level rather than this historically bad level

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Thursday, 20 February 2020 17:02 (six years ago)

Knicks def not the right organization for him to be in right now.

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Thursday, 20 February 2020 17:03 (six years ago)

Wth joe Johnson never did a 50 burger?

Trae Young's 50-point game is the first for an Atlanta Hawk since Shareef Abdur-Rahim in November 2001.

Kristaps Porzingis is the only player in NBA history with multiple games of 35+ points, 5+ made threes, and 5+ blocks.

feel like he's settling into his role as like evolutionary channing frye or something... huge floor spacer who can also protect the rim. pretty much what most teams are looking for a in a center these days if you don't have one of the sui generis embiid/jokic types.

J0rdan S., Monday, 2 March 2020 19:30 (six years ago)

Caris LeVert had 14 points going into the fourth quarter. He finished with 51

Early in the season it seemed like maybe he couldn’t shoot anymore but I guess he had just been on ice so long that he had to relearn shooting in games

four months pass...

Has anyone else noticed that the Basketball Reference Play Index feature has gone behind a paywall? Sad day for those of us not quite dedicated enough to pony up $$$ so I can run random NBA stat searches while procrastinating at work...

"Lillard is the only player in league history other than Wilt Chamberlain with three 60-plus point games in the same season."

Clay, Wednesday, 12 August 2020 05:51 (five years ago)

heat been letting tyler herro play point guard for huge stretches of games lately w/ butler & dragic sitting and he's looked pretty awesome. had his first career 30 point game vs the thunder tonight ... his game is expanding, some of these finishes are really creative and he's had some good passes too. i still think his ideal role is as a dynamite bench scorer but i feel like he has perennial sixth man of the year potential. he'll also be a great crunch time player at least on offense bcuz you can't leave him open but he's already great at getting his shot off too when guys contest, and now he's adding some playmaking. he will have one of the nastiest step backs in the game sooner rather than later as well.
