i think the bojan and clarkson pieces were nice rotation adds that moved the needle for them a bit. despite his awful game last night d mitch is has taken a small jump as well.

booker not happy

"The NBA is different than the game that I fell in love with at the beginning of all the best players in the All-Star Game growing up. And now it's an entertainment, drama, political-filled league. But we're a part of it now. It pays well so I guess we should be quiet about it."

i usually kinda rme at snubs but this one feels more egregious than others in the past.

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Friday, 31 January 2020 19:36 (six years ago)

Not sure how Michael Porter Jr didn’t make the rising stars game

Matt Armstrong, Friday, 31 January 2020 19:38 (six years ago)

booker got hella snubbed but that quote is some serious “I hate drama” drama

Clay, Friday, 31 January 2020 20:04 (six years ago)

ah the halcyon days of mid 00s NBA

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 January 2020 20:18 (six years ago)

back when it was just a game!

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Friday, 31 January 2020 20:18 (six years ago)

there was definitely no internal politics or clout chasing or drama back then... just ballers playing for the love of the game, living in the moment, not a cellphone in sight

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Friday, 31 January 2020 20:30 (six years ago)

the nba tbf is insanely dramatic now

The Rockets are so joyless. Not fun to watch.

Matt Armstrong, Saturday, 1 February 2020 00:53 (six years ago)

very exciting, going to Portland for a long weekend, Sunday we got tickets to Blazers Heat!

this will be the first NBA game I've seen that didn't involve the timberwolves, feels like a positive step

Didn't they just remeasure everyone's height? How is Ingram listed at 6'9"

Each arm is 6'9"

Clay, Saturday, 1 February 2020 02:51 (six years ago)

didn't watch but if the bulls played that aggressive trapping style against kyrie they lost the game before the opening tip

.@KyrieIrving finishes with 54 points on 82.6% shooting. The only players in NBA history to drop 50+ shooting that well:

Kyrie gets 5 god mode games each year and they're assigned randomly

frogbs, Saturday, 1 February 2020 03:00 (six years ago)

Per Elias, the Rockets are the first team to play an entire game without a player listed taller than 6'6" since the Knicks on Jan. 31, 1963 against the Chicago Zephyrs in a neutral-site game in Syracuse.

love to see good whiteside minutes in the wild

With his performance tonight, Damian Lillard is the first player in NBA history to record 35+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and 5+ threes in five straight games.

lag∞n, Saturday, 1 February 2020 06:23 (six years ago)

Lillard is a treat! What a player

(•̪●) (carne asada), Saturday, 1 February 2020 06:36 (six years ago)

is whiteside good now?

Thybulle on the Dash (Spottie), Saturday, 1 February 2020 06:44 (six years ago)

he’s been great all year but is still atrocious at cover d

Clay, Saturday, 1 February 2020 06:48 (six years ago)

i think whiteside became underrated. the heat were tired of him on a personal level and they are better off with bam, but whiteside had plenty of quasi-dominant stretches in miami. his salary is kinda crazy but he's still a useful regular season player.

the problem is what happens when nurkic comes back and starts eating into his playing time

J0rdan S., Saturday, 1 February 2020 07:26 (six years ago)

zion doesnt even look like hes trying

lag∞n, Saturday, 1 February 2020 17:55 (six years ago)

when nurkic comes back and starts eating into whiteside's playing time, the blazers will improve as a team, so I fail to see that as a problem

A is for (Aimless), Saturday, 1 February 2020 17:59 (six years ago)
