im gonna be honest here this has not been a beautifully played game

he had some weird FT yips on occasion last season too

pretty physical game but i figure the clippers personnel prob brings that out of opponents

i'm working on this emerging theory that the clips winning the championship would actually suck and most of us should be supporting any other outcome--would welcome the thoughts of the group.

mb its hard to judge the vibe of the team when they just havent been healthy all year

clippers or lakers winning would be the worst. cheering for any other outcome but hoping for bucks the most.

evidence so far: no one would actually care if they won; if they do win it will be by playing an aesthetically displeasing style most of the time; them winning would reinforce the theory of pure mercenary teams; yeah steve ballmer is funny but does he actually deserve more pleasure in his life?

the lakers winning is also distasteful but at least a large population of people would be happy if the lakers won. generally i support people being happy.

a part of my theory is i was listening to some health of the nba stuff today (we haven't talked about how all of the "schedule reforms" have been shot down) and i started to think that a clippers championship is deeply unfriendly to casuals. at least those people can conceive of the lakers winning.

of the tru contenders, bucks are the best option for humanity. small market, havent won in forever, probably keeps giannis in milwaukee, and puts him in the top 20 all time convo.

w the lakers, u get lebron winning and shutting up kobe stans, probably solidifying some of his GOAT case, but then again fuck the lakers so idk

clippers would be wild as hell bc they were a punchline for so long and if kawhi wins back to back on different teams he also has to enter the top 20 conversation bc what the fuck

oh totally, i think the nuggs dna is getting smacked around in the playoffs by actual good teams

jazz are hot right now too but same tier as those others.
