yeah i think this is true plus pace of game. it's just a really nice time to be a perimeter player on offense.

Luka is just a freak and is also built like a truck. Trae is the guy who seems to be of this era and reflective of a new kind of basketball. OTOH he’s the worst defender in the nba so there’s an adjustment going on there

I was a Trae skeptic because so much of his game is built on crazy threes but it looks like he really can shoot those at a good clip which makes him a monster

insane court vision too. the defense thing is a big deal tho.

Yeah think so. Plus the continuing of the trend of each class of new players who have grown up where basketball=handles+deep shooting prowess. On the whole young guys are so much better at both than in the past.

ja currently really close to a 50/40/80 start to the season...

players come into the league w insane skills now i think the trainer phenomenon has something to do w it, schools are limited in the amount of time theyre allowed to work w players and theyre more concerned w winning than development

they had 2 back-to-backs with travel last week they're still kinda gassed i think. and they have a 3rd tomorrow vs milwaukee, probably about as much of a scheduled loss as possible

Murray rolls his ankle. Kind of a disastrous season for him so far. I haven’t given up on him but I’m sick of the inconsistency.

its worse in sa. lonnie walker is a hoops poet who is like 10th in the rotation in his second season and is sitting behind bryn forbes who is a liability if he isn't shooting 50% from 3 (he usually isnt). they have a thin forward rotation and he has two rookie forwards playing all their time in austin. it is a frustrating year in sa.
