Pelicans are only 3 games out of the playoffs and have by far the easiest remaining schedule of any Western Conference team.

theres 7 teams within those three games lol some of these teams need to decide if theyre tanking or not

i wonder if the fact that nobody seems to like this draft is keeping some teams from picking that direction.

i for one never understood this trade. you already have a top 2 center and a $30 million PF. when is grant really going to be making an impact.

Millsap is a zillion years old, probably not staying after this season and was the only true PF on the roster

perhaps it will work out longterm. but if i was the nuggets and i was gonna burn my first round pick in a trade i would’ve gone after someone i knew was going to be on the court for me in the final 5 mins of playoff games.

They traded a late first rounder for insurance if millsap gets injured. That sounds about right.

Addressing reporters for the first time since the Nets’ loss in Denver on Nov. 14, Irving said he’s doing better and recently received a cortisone shot for his right shoulder impingement. He also confirmed reports of having bursitis in his shoulder. Irving said he got the shot to put off having arthroscopic surgery but plans to see how his body responds before going that route.

Irving could still return to the court and see whether he’s able to play before opting for surgery. He didn’t provide a timeline for when he plans to decide.

“I’m in a better place now that it’s been some significant time,” Irving said. “I tried to go without any anti-inflammatories, which is why it took so long. Now I’m at a place where the next step was to either get a cortisone shot or get surgery. So that was the ultimatum I was fixed with. So now I’m just doing the best I can to live off this cortisone and move forward if I need surgery in the future.”

What a dumbshit. I know steroids are tough on your body and I feel bad for professional athletes who have difficulties later in life, but this is some flat earth nonsense.

He’s an anti-vaxxer isn’t he

NSAIDs have some side effects that can be pretty harsh. they can fuck up your kidneys. that's one reason why you aren't supposed to take NSAIDs for more than three days without seeing a physician. steroids have even worse side effects. Kyrie should be using them to assist his body to heal, but sparingly, as an adjunct to rest, ice, and other therapy.

The issue with NSAIDs is that athletes exceed the dosage

blake is in detroit tho so no one cares about him any more. hes only played in half their games and is shooting 35% from the field

it’s doubly weird cuz i thought last year he played as well as he ever has in his career. just seems like his body is breaking down i guess

yeah started near the end of last year and he probably shouldnt have played in the playoffs but he tried to gut it out.

seems like he could stand to lose 15-20 lbs to ease the burden on the knees.
