So Matisse Thybulle is shooting 44% from 3. He is older than most rookies having played 4 years so I assume he is going to be better sooner than others and reach his ceiling sooner as well. That being said, he looks like a very useful player already.

idk why you would trade for love and his contract when you could get someone like bertans or gallo who are on expirings and provide the same basic set of skills

yeah those huge max deals to aging guys rarely end up too good

he'd be the perfect upgrade to ingles but they can't trade ingles this year and there's no other way to make the money work

i really think it's underrated mismanagement that the cavs blew back to back top 5 picks on point guards.. feel like ultimately you really need wings and/or a star big to win in the NBA, and picking sexton/garland is such a poor allocation of your best resources. i really can't even envision what that backcourt is supposed to look like even in the best scenario... a far less dynamic version of john wall and brad beal?

tradenba.com says Joe Ingles cannot be traded because 3 months have not passed since he was signed. He will be eligible to be traded after January 19th.

interesting. espn trade machine has it as 6 months. i'm reading cba faq and am leaning toward the 3 months interpretation.

yeah. it's either three or six months from the date he extended which was 10/21. different rules for extensions for reasons i am not clear on.

from what i can tell the six-month restriction would only apply to a 4+ year extension where ingles only extended for a year....
